A bit like me really... but seriously this is one of the better toys appearance wise and is as tough as the rope it is made of. My two year old Labrador is not really shredding things any more, so no guarantee against other younger dogs gnawing to bits, but will last well with an older hound. Have faith - puppies do usually calm down and the toys last longer as they get older.

I bought this for my spaniel dog at xmas and 7 months later still going strong recommend this product worth buying its quite robust

We are astonished that Foxy has lasted so well . He is by far our rescue Lurchers favourite toy and has therefore taken a great deal of chewing shaking and being flung everywhere ..He has lost one foot , but is otherwise intact and still squeaking . A really good toy well made and worth every penny .

We have a 6 month Staffy puppy who is heavily into chewing his toys. He has chewed through many, but “foxy” has been, so far, really resilient and a favourite. Also on the plus side is the pitch of the squeaker, which engages Georgie in gentle play, not the mad frenzy he has with some of his other squeaky toys.

A beautiful toy, colourful and sturdy. And most importantly: the sounds aren't annoying. Thank you very much.

My little Havanese loves his "Fox" – he chews, gnaws, and licks it whenever he wants to relax. I've bought many over the nearly six years I've had him, and I usually order two at a time when it's time for a new one. Swapping out the old, worn-out one for a new one always seems to be a treat: "Wow, a new Fox!" I just pop them in the washing machine when needed. Downsides? Well, in the end, he can chew it up so much that bits of string from the rope end up both in his bed and his belly. But by then, the toy's lifespan is well and truly over.
