Will your dog dare to approach this new toy? The Trixie Snack-Snake is in the shape of a snake and is coloured green. Bring a touch of exotic fauna into your home. Once the toy snake has been filled with treats, even the wariest of dogs will probably throw caution to the wind and start sniffing inquisitively at the new plaything.
The Snack-Snake can be opened wide so is easy to fill with treats and pâtés. The inside is smooth which makes it easier to clean after use. The outside surface is textured with a scale pattern so that your dog can grasp it easily with its teeth. The Trixie Snack-Snake is made of TPR (thermoplastic rubber) which is flexible and kind on the teeth. There is a squeaker in the head for even more fun when playing with this toy.

Great activity
Great toy to keep them busy. However, the squeaker broke after just one day (hence only four stars).

Very sturdy toy
The snake has been regularly and happily used by our mixed-breed dog for 4 months now and shows no signs of wear and tear so far. Even the squeaker still works perfectly. This is the first toy that has lasted this long. Therefore, a clear recommendation!

The bombshell
My super-gobbling Mia gets her food served in the snake now. No more wolfing it down, and instead of 20 seconds, she’s busy eating for minutes. The snake is very sturdy, it’s definitely no laughing matter. She loves using it as a toy, throwing it around and biting it. Tossed and chewed, yet it doesn’t get a scratch, holes, or lose any parts. Big double love like ;-)

Great for playing
Both of my dogs (an Aussie and a Bernese Mountain Dog) play together with the snake. So far, the snake hasn’t shown a single sign of damage, and no toy has lasted this long before.

Great idea, poor execution
My dog loved the snake! …until it was already chewed up after 15 minutes. Basically a great toy for keeping them entertained, but not for dogs who love to chew. Definitely only use under supervision!!

His favourite toy!
I'm usually wary about buying new toys for my dog since he usually just wrecks them within a few hours. However this snake has lasted over a day of him not leaving it alone! It's definitely his favourite toy.

Great activity
Our Nero loves the snake. We fill it with different things... both solid and creamy – cottage cheese or liver sausage, along with firm dog biscuits. Every time he sees the snake, he gets super excited. Unfortunately, you can't leave him alone with the snake. The material isn't tough enough for our dog :) but if you keep an eye on him, everything is perfect. Nero has so much fun with it.

What a shame! Despite missing teeth, it breaks apart.
Our blind dog loved the snake! He proudly carried it around, but after a few minutes, it was torn in several places. With the second one, he quickly chewed off the end and swallowed it – two weeks later, he threw it up. Not suitable for heavy chewers!!

Great!
Our dog loves it. I was looking for an alternative to snack balls, which you can’t really put wet food into. The food gets enthusiastically licked out of the snake down to the very last crumb. Afterwards, it can still be chewed on without it breaking! And if you ever need 15–30 minutes (depending on the dog, for us it’s more like 15 ;) ) for whatever reason or just want to eat in peace, the dog is kept busy and distracted with this for a while ;)
