Very good for the money

I have three Pointer mix female dogs, all hunters. Switching from recall to whistle has made our lives significantly easier! It’s incredible how quickly the dogs adapted to it. A huge advantage is the volume, which can be heard even in a storm (we live by the North Sea) or over long distances (perfect for the dike or beach). The downside of the volume: it’s loud in your own ear and rings quite a bit... But it’s absolutely worth it for the fantastic effect!

I assumed that a dog whistle is simply a dog whistle, meaning it’s supposed to be quiet. For me, this was a bad purchase, even though the whistle itself isn’t bad.

Great whistle so good I purchased two more one for each of my neighbours.

Bought this as I can’t whistle myself and my dogs can’t always hear me when I call them, works really well, it is on a cord to hang it round your neck and has a different whistle at each end, great value for money

I’m surprised at how smoothly the adjustment to this whistle went. Since my jaw surgery, I haven’t been able to whistle (different sequences – impossible). My girl seems happy that she can once again understand what I want from her.

I wanted to train a reliable recall that works even over a longer distance from the dog. What can I say? The first time, he looked around perplexed at first, but once he realised that the whistle sound meant there were special treats, everything was fine. He comes reliably, and THAT is exactly what I wanted to achieve because ---> A good recall is half the battle with a dog 😉

My dog listened right from the first time! He loves barking at the door. When I call him, he doesn’t always listen, but if I whistle twice, he comes straight away to get his treat. I find this one much better than the high-frequency whistle.

I ordered two of these whistles since there are two of us training the dog. Unfortunately, the two supposedly identical whistles don’t sound the same. One is significantly higher-pitched than the other. Therefore, they’re completely unsuitable for training together. I’m very annoyed.

This whistle has two whistles. One does sound a bit like a football whistle, but it is brilliant on windy days as it is very loud and the sound carries quite far.

Our dog much prefers this whistle to the high-frequency whistle, and since we spend a lot of time in the woods, the trill whistle tone is also an advantage!

A fantastic whistle; it's great that you can produce two different tones. One is a very loud trill, and the other is a loud flute tone. My dogs respond brilliantly to this whistle, unlike an "ultrasound whistle." I will keep buying this whistle and can truly recommend it.

Bought for recall training for a selectively deaf pointer. It is very loud and piercing, so the sound travels very far even on windy beaches and he can't pretend he can't hear it. So far, so good.

I think this is like a football whistle and will confuse a dog if trained on this, wish I had returned it! I bought for a friend who needed one that could stand extreme heat be in sea water etc, so thought this ideal but it is very chunky and wrong sound!

After two days, the dog comes back immediately at the latest after the second whistle. Especially over greater distances or when I can no longer see the dog, it's very helpful.

Since I’ve trained the dog to respond to the whistle, I feel much more confident – even if my voice gives out, the whistle works perfectly.

I've had the whistle for a year now, and it hasn't broken yet. It's also very lightweight, which is really advantageous for longer walks. My 2-year-old Lab bitch understood what the whistle means within a day (motivated with treats), and she comes straight to me when she hears the whistle, which is impossible to miss :) I don't go for walks without the whistle anymore.

I’m really glad that our trainer recommended this whistle to us. Unlike our shouting, this sound even gets through to our Aussie male when he’s switched to “hunting mode” (which is, of course, also because he associates the whistle with only the best things ^^). The leather strap is very practical, and the whistle is flawless in terms of quality. We’ve been using it for almost a month now, and there’s absolutely no chipping or damage.
