Trixie Buffalo Horn Whistle

Have used this whistle for past 4 years with my rescue Breton (has spaniel deafness!) who quickly learnt whistle = food. I rarely used the lower, (football) whistle as it doesn’t appear to work, but the higher pitched one we use, 1-3 blasts for different meanings. 3 of course means where the heck are you, come back now. Whistle is very robust. Would highly recommend

Bought this as I can’t whistle myself and my dogs can’t always hear me when I call them, works really well, it is on a cord to hang it round your neck and has a different whistle at each end, great value for money

This whistle has two whistles. One does sound a bit like a football whistle, but it is brilliant on windy days as it is very loud and the sound carries quite far.

Bought for recall training for a selectively deaf pointer. It is very loud and piercing, so the sound travels very far even on windy beaches and he can't pretend he can't hear it. So far, so good.

I think this is like a football whistle and will confuse a dog if trained on this, wish I had returned it! I bought for a friend who needed one that could stand extreme heat be in sea water etc, so thought this ideal but it is very chunky and wrong sound!
