The FURminator deShedding grooming tool for small short-haired dogs is specially designed to remove loose hair. This is important to prevent the formation of tangles and to support the regrowth of new hair.
The stainless steel edge of the tool penetrates deep into the topcoat and thoroughly removes the undercoat - i.e. the dead, shed hair - without damaging the coat and skin. With regular use, the device reduces loose hair in the coat by up to 90%. The deShedding tool glides gently over the skin and adapts perfectly to the contours of small dogs.

definitely recommend it
Fantastic product, my first one. The plastic was sadly a little damaged but I just wrote a quick email and they sent me a new one. Easy peasy. I enjoy using this groomer on my Pug, which I would never have believed possible. Definitely recommend it before you go out and buy a cheapo comb. Better to invest a little more and avoid the agro. My dog's hair's is really shiny and soft now :)
