These Biodegradable Dog Poop Bags are practical and environmentally friendly. What’s more, they are odour-free and made from maize starch. This renewable material is biodegradable and complies with European guidelines on compostable materials (EN13432). These rolls are suitable for all standard poop bag dispensers. The bags are easily separated thanks to the perforated lines indicated by arrows between each bag. 

These opaque poop bags will help you to clean up after your dog in an uncomplicated and safe way. Simply put the bag over your hand as you would with a glove, then you can hygienically clean up your dog’s waste and turn the bag inside out and tie it closed. Both the internal tubes and the packaging are made from recyclable cardboard. These bags offer nature-lovers a great way to be environmentally conscious and to ensure cleanliness while out on a walk.

Variable.. can tear down the side.

In some ways i like these bags.. some rolls work right to the end but others split down the side from the off and you need three to be able to pick up safely.. and then drop into another one,. Fingers crossed for this batch.

Why the low rating?

These bags are great. We've ordered them continuously for the past 3 years and I never u deratand why they only have a 3 star rating. They're thick, not too big and have never failed. I hope Zooplus continues to stock them.

I'm really happy with these and my husband is too. They're environmentally friendly and a lot thicker and sturdier than other biodegradable / compostable bags.

Great bags

These are the best bags I have used. They are a good size for my large dog, sturdy, good thickness and colour - I've found other biodegradable bags to be transparent but these are perfect. I can't imagine the splitting as other reviews have mentioned. Maybe there was a bad batch? I've ordered loads so I'll update if it ever happens to me.

Keep splitting

These bags used to be great, but the last few batches have consistently split down the side whenever I try and use one.

Waste of money

Every bag I have used has split either on opening or on used. The first one on each roll is usually no good due to the sticker. I had 2 boxes so I've tried many ways to take them off without damage to the bag and rarely succeed. I will never get these again as its very unpleasant when they break when picking up. I've tried a grab thing and that rips Every one (corners) I've used a cat litter scoop with more success and I've used the bags over my hand and that's truly unpleasant when it breaks

Not durable

I used to love these, especially because it's hard to find biodegradable bags that don't cost the earth. However, something seems to have changed, they break so easily now, sometimes even as soon as you take them off the roll. Won't be buying them again.

Used to love these

As others have mentioned, I was happy, they were very good quality and value, but now they split or already split on the roll and are unusable, I tried a few orders thinking it was a bad batch but its been consistently bad, need to address the issue and change back to how they were before

Handle with extreme care

While I applaud the concept of biodegradable bags, I regret having bought a box of 20 rolls of these things. Was this a poor batch? 1. The tabs securing the rolls don't peel off: most tear off bringing chunks of bag with them. 2. No matter how carefully they are opened, many bags split before they open fully. Today was not the first time a bag has split unpredictably just as I was picking up excrement. Miles from a wash basin with only grass to wipe my hands clean. Yuk.

Easy to open, biodegradable

I’ve been using these bags for a couple of yrs. They’re soft-touch rather than shiny plastic so they’re really easy to open. More than big enough to pick up after my labrador. Straight cut at top (no handles). I’ve probably had 400+ rolls over 2-3 yrs and only had one or two rolls where the tear-line was a bit misaligned making it difficult to open.

Good bags

They fit my dispenser and don’t fall apart in rain. Do get slightly tacky after being wet. Large volume but not overly wide. Only had couple dud bags but all rolls ok. Finally no plastic in the bin and the core is cardboard also. Guilt reduced!

Perfect poo bag

I see a lot of people complaining how they split easily. I think that's the whole point honestly since they are BIODEGRADABLE. I hate the idea of throwing plastic bag 2-3 times a day in a bin and the idea of it not being dissolved for years. I'd rather not collect my dog's poo than use real plastic bags, it would be better for the environment. Yes, they are a bit fragile. But I've been using them for years and I never got my hands dirty, they split only in a couple of occasions. 5/5
