There is a diagonal entrance across each level, giving the appearance of a spiral staircase. Inside is the perfect cosy space for hiding, chilling and sleeping. Your cat can choose which den to hide in, with three on top of each other. Does your cat prefer watching the world go by? No problem! On top of the Natural Paradise Scratching Barrel - Sunflower you will find a soft cuddle bed with a thick border to lean against. There are also plenty of opportunities for sharpening claws. The barrel is coated with sisal all the way around, allowing your cat to scratch and stretch to its heart's desire.

Tips for fixing to the wall: Check that the condition of the wall in the desired place is suitable before affixing brackets to the wall. Materials for mounting brackets are not included. We recommend that you purchase screws and wall plugs that are specifically designed to suit your wall from a specialised shop. Use special wall plugs and screws for concrete, hollow walls or plasterboard. Check the stability of the cat tree before allowing your cat to use it. Check the stability regularly and tighten the screws when needed.

Please note: Make sure you attach the fleece side of the bed to the Velcro fastener. Keep in mind that you may need to turn the bed over if the plush is on the bottom.

Good stability, large cuddly cushion
My big tomcat loves the barrel! The cushion has a high, thick edge where he can really snuggle in. The cushion is bigger and higher than on the Primerose scratching barrel, so it's even better for him!

Immediately accepted
Our Maine Coon kittens immediately claimed the scratching barrel as their own. It stays upright even when our little rascals go wild and literally pounce on it. The craftsmanship is good, with no odd wood splinters or sharp edges. Each lounging spot has its own plush blanket, and the top cushion is a big hit. We liked it so much, we bought a second one straight away for the campsite.

Nice and big
Our two Coonies love it! Especially the top resting spot is fiercely contested. Good craftsmanship, each nook is covered with plush fabric, and there's a plush blanket included for each nook. The top resting spot is secured with Velcro straps and holds well. Was easy to assemble!

Stable scratching barrel
This scratching barrel is happily used by my kitty.

Very poor quality!
Very poor quality.
Right after assembling, we disposed of the packaging.
Then we discovered that the wood inside was breaking and nails were sticking out!!!
The cats could get injured here.
After we clipped the nails, the interior of the barrel became unstable!
Curious to see how we’ll resolve this issue – customer service has been informed.
Wouldn’t buy this product again.

Scratching barrel
Prompt delivery and well-packaged.
With this scratching barrel, you only need to screw on the base plate and the top wooden plate, and you're done.
It stands very securely on the floor.
The cave floors are lined with plush fabric on the inside, and there’s even a thin cushion included for each one.
The cosy bed on top is attached with Velcro, making it easy to remove and clean.
My little Persian cat immediately made herself comfortable in the bed on top. Definitely a clear recommendation to buy!!!!
