Royal Canin Dental Care has been developed to support your cat's oral health, with chemical and mechanical processes that reduce the build up of plaque and tartar. Dental abrasion and calcium binding also help to minimise bad breath, as the bacteria find less space to live in.

Royal Canin Dental Care also contains L.I.P. proteins, which are highly digestible and top quality. This results in improved nutritional value of the food, which in turn leads to a happier, all-round more energetic cat.

No resealable strip.
Purchased this product only to be disappointed by the lack of a resealable strip in the bag, bought many products before from RC, all with the resealable strip. These strips obviously keep the product fresh. I contacted RC and was advised "they are looking at ways to introduce a strip to the product, however this will take time and to use an air tight container." These are already expensive for the size of bag and then to go out and buy a container, I don't think so, would not recommend.

Really working!
I've been buying RC Dental for many years, started after Charlie had to have his teeth cleaned at the vets 6 years ago. Since then he is on the Dental dry food mixed with another one that we change and his teeth stay lovely clean. I'm sure Dental food used on a regular bases helps to keep Charlies teeth white and healthy. He is a greedy cat and would eat any food so I am not sure what a fussy cat would say about the taste... He doesn't mind the big size of the kibbles either as he's a big cat

Favourite flavour!
Our cats have a diet of various Royal Canin dry food but this is their favourite. They seem to enjoy the bigger kibbles.

Very happy with product

Cats love it, healthy teeth
Years ago my vet advised me to feed my old cat Royal Canin Dental as cat had many teeth removed due to plaque and decay, she took to it immediately and her teeth improved. I now feed my 2 young rescue cats RC dental and they love it, no wastage. Recently took 3 year old to vet who remarked on how healthy and plaque free cat’s teeth are. I buy 8kg bag as it works out cheaper, lasts 2 cats almost 3 months, they also have wet food.

Tasty and good for cleaning teeth
Our 2 cats love this and so does the handsome stray that comes most days (just been adopted but still visits for his favourite food!). So it's a win win all round!

Cats now don't need dental care

She can't get enough of it!
This quickly became my cat's favourite food! Last year I was told she had mild gingivitis and since having this kibble her teeth and gums are now perfect. She wakes me up every morning demanding it.

Excellent - Boris has very clean teeth and healthy gums now
I have been feeding my Persian cat this since he came off kitten food and was able to chew bigger pieces in the oral care. He suffered with sore gums and gingervitus. The vet commented how clean his teeth were at his annual check up ! Excellent

Doesn't seem to be doing much.
I have two cats, both 3, one with pre-existing dental problems. I've been consistently buying this product for a year and the cat with pre-existing tartar problems, still has them, but I was expecting it. What I wasn't expecting is that my other cat (not related to the first one) also now has gingivitis, while she NEVER had teeth problems before. So it didn't help the cat who needed help with dental products and didn't prevent the cat who had perfect teeth from getting dental problems.

Not the same as the Oral ones
I’ve been buying Royal Canin Oral for years. They seem to have replaced it with these. My cat has been consistently sick and by process of elimination we have discovered it’s this food that has caused it.

Best dental fry food
Our cat is not a fan of dry food bht surprisingly, she absolutely loved it! It helped with her teeth and gums. We had to order another pack after a few weeks!

Bad breath no more!!!
Very effective for cat’s teeth I would say. One of my kitten suffers from bad breath and changed after two weeks of munching this. It took a while for them to use from RC kitten to this but they have adjusted.

Great sized Kibble
I am fed up of getting dry cat food that has tiny pieces of kibble. These are a great size and makes it necessary for my cats to chew the pieces, whereas with the tiny varieties they swallow them whole and often it upsets their stomach. Bought a small pack to try and they loved them. Bigger pack in the basket as we speak!

Not for us
My cats like them but struggled to digest. They would eat them whole rather than crunch them therefore the benefit to the teeth was useless. They were also sick daily because they weren’t digesting them. We have therefore gone back to royal canin savour sensations.

Best dry cat food EVER!
My 2 brits absolutely love RC Oral! I tried mixing it in a bowl with other branded foods but they get chucked out very quickly :) We are on the forth 8kg bag and it will certainly not be the last! A*****
