Product description

Complete dietetic food with 32% chicken, promoting urinary tract health and reducing risk of struvite and calcium oxalate stones, with stress-reducing ingredients for Feline Idiopathic Cystitis.

Vet Food Disclaimer

Hill's Prescription Diet Feline c/d Stress Urinary Care - Chicken has been specially developed for adult cats suffering with the most common urinary tract conditions. The clinically proven special nutrition contains a moderate magnesium content, as well as DL-methionine for its urine-acidifying properties. It can help combat struvite stones and reduce the risk of reoccurrence. L-tryptophane and milk protein hydrolysate can have a soothing effect and reduce the risk of FIC (Feline Idiopathic Cystitis).

A high content of highly digestible chicken (32%) provides your cat with valuable animal protein. Hill's Prescription Diet Feline c/d Stress Urinary Care - Chicken also contains a balanced mix of vitamins, minerals and trace elements, as well as taurine and natural antioxidants, which provides your cat with all its vital nutrients. It also supports your cat's overall wellbeing and can help to develop a strong immune system. A high-quality food, this is prescribed by veterinarians and can effectively help to improve your cat's lower urinary tract health.

Hill's Prescription Diet Feline c/d Stress Urinary Care Chicken at a glance:

  • Dietetic complete food for adult cats
  • Specially developed for cats prone to lower urinary tract conditions
  • Clinically proven to reduce the risk of recurring FIC symptoms by 89%
  • Dissolves sterile struvite stones: reduces symptoms and combats development of new cases
  • Adapts the acid content of urine: urine-acidifying DL-methionine and a tailored magnesium content regulate pH value
  • L-tryptophan and milk protein hydrolysate: to reduce stress
  • Nutrient-rich: with vitamins, minerals, trace elements, taurine and antioxidants
  • 32% chicken: easy to digest and delicious
Reduces stress
L-tryptophan and milk protein hydrolysate can reduce stress, which is a common risk factor for certain urinary tract conditions such as FIC (Feline Idiopathic Cystitis).
Dissolves urinary stones
Sterile struvite stones can develop due to the excessive mineral content of certain cat foods. This food helps dissolve them and can reduce the risk of recurring struvite-, calcium oxalate- or calcium phosphate crystals and stones.
Relieves symptoms
Omega-3 fatty acids can reduce inflammation and relieve pain, easing it on a daily basis.
Suitable for the main causes of FLUTD
The highest risk factors for lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD) in cats are stress, certain food types, being overweight and low fluid intake.

Struvite stones gone!
My boy suffered badly with crystals and had 2 blockages that almost ended his life. I was hesitant to buy this food because of the price, but after the vet bills reached almost £2000 and other types of food didn’t help him, I gave hills a try. He’s doing amazing now almost 8 months since the last blockage and we don’t have any issues! My other cat likes this food as well and is good for preventative means. It is pricey but so worth it, not going back to other types of food.

Good product
One of my poor boys had calcium oxalate stones and just had surgery on them this week. The vet recommended this food and he loves it! Just hope it prevents the stones from reoccurring!

Wonderful product, stopped vet trips!
My female cat suddenly started getting recurring bouts of stress induced haematuria and cystitis, resulting in several expensive vet trips over the period of 18 months. Finally she got diagnosed with urinary crystals and the vet recommended this food. She can be fussy, but easily transitioned to this brand of dry food. Almost immediately she improved and we have not had any trouble at all since...now a year and counting! A wonderful find and so happy she is well again.

He loves it
I almost lost my young boy at a mere 18 months old due to a nasty blocked bladder. Fortunately after a pricey vet staycation he is still with me and needs a prescription diet. I tried this one and Royal Canin but this is by far his favourite! Since the vet stay and being on this food he is happier more chilled cat and far less stressed and thank god all the inappropriate wetting around the house has stopped. Definitely recommend this food.

Saved my boy!
After nearly losing my boy Nigel twice to nasty water infections, we put him on this diet along with the wet chicken version, and have never looked back! He absolutely loves them, so much so giving them a little shake is a sure way to get him out of any hiding place!

Best Buy ever!
As well as ongoing issues with stress related bladder problems, our male cat Tigger use to constantly spray on the furniture at home. Since our vet advised us to put him on the urinary stress prescription diet - no more problems! So much so we now don't even give him any medication (he was on cystease capsules once a day) He's also a lot calmer so all good. :-)

Very good product
Tato has just been to a veterinary hospital because of an acute urinary problem. The vet recommended me to use this food and avoid all others, which is what I did. I put some medication in there, too, and it worked. (Attention: consult your vet before consumption)

The best
I tried several different urinary foods, as Hill's Prescription Diet C/d Urinary Stress was the only one left over. It is the best food and has not affected my cats' stomach in any way, state or form.

it works
My cat wouldn't stop urinating on furniture and walls. On the advice of my vet, I gradually started mixing her food with Hills Prescription Diet Urinary in combination with Feliway diffuser and a few days later it started to work well. Two weeks later, my cat was fine again.

Ideal Kibble
My little kitten just had stress-related cystis. That was the first time that I started using this kibble, and already it has managed to demonstrate its effectiveness. A urinalasys is planned within the next month or so, which will give the actual proof. My vet advised me to continue the therapy for some time. Thank God zooplus does offer therapeutic food. Delivery was impeccable.

Fantastic Results
On the advice of our vet, I've been feeding this solely to my tabby who had an operation for bladder stones 7 years ago, which included symptoms of bloody urine and over-grooming his tummy hair. Absolutely NO more problems and a VERY healthy, happy 14-year old cat. I have also tried the Reduced Calorie version for cats prone to put on weight -- it worked!

Fantastic!
Ever since we use this dry food, Our Nero hasn't got anymore problems with his cystitis, which has already cost us more than £2000 for the vet. This high quality and effective food means that Nero is well again! All I can do is recommend using this superb dogfood!
