She enjoys the crunch

My female cat was definitely getting fat and she enjoys dry food more than wet so I tried a few weight loss brands. As she's a fussy eater I can tell that she likes concept as they would all be gone while others were left in her bowl. I've just reordered another 3 months worth and hopefully she will be back to her lighter self .

A Strong Choice

My cat has been on this for some time as he had got into quite a big boy! He’s shifted 2kg whilst being fed this and looks significantly more streamline! He loves it, however he does seemed to be less satisfied after each meal than with other food and can meow for more (he is greedy and may not entirely be a reflection on the food, although worth noting). His coat has also lost a significant amount of shine from when he was on his previous food.

Pieces are very pointy! Can’t use

The pieces are too sharp (little triangles with very pointy edges) which my cat is struggling to eat because he is old and it clearly hurts his gums. They should have included a photo of the kibble shape on the product page and the manufacturer should design a better shape so that older cats can also eat it.

Proof is in the product

We have a very fussy cat who won’t eat anything except dry food and treats! She’s slowly been gaining weight and I knew she needed to slim down, but how if she was so fussy? I came across these cubes, after reading the reviews I was sceptical but knew I needed to try something. To my delight she gradually started to loose the weight and her over condition improved 10 fold. She’s a lot more active, her coat is silky and shines. The proof is in the product. I highly recommend this product.

Great product

I used another top brand for years but 1 of my 3 cats didn't know how to stop, so I switched to this product about a year ago and I can safely say that this has become the go to product for all our cats.

Works for losing weight

Finally some food that helps my two adult cats lose weight for real. They had been putting on the pounds the last few months, and I want them to lose about half a kilo, bit by bit. I have been feeding them a weight loss diet (7 grams 5 times a day) and I thought they would be hungrier, but they are doing great and have lost almost 200 grams every 10 days. I am pleasantly surprised at how well it's worked! We will keep going like this for a while

Very good kibble

Concept for life is a very good brand, both my dogs and my cats use it. I have one 4 year old kitty who had become overweight and my vet told me that he needed to lose some weight. Not easy for an apartment cat !!! My cat managed to lose weight very quickly thanks to this dry food . When it comes to satiety I would say this works great if your cat does not have a gluttonous appetite and/or eats very quickly. No more issues with weight !!!

they love it but the kibble is very small

The two of them love it but be careful, the kibble is very small ! My diabetic cat barely crunched them before eating When it comes to taste, she loves it, I split the daily portion in two (1/2 Concept For Life + 1/2 Royal Canin) otherwise her stool becomes soft when she is only eating Concept for Life I have been feeding it for almost a month, not every day. Not much change in weight (neither gain nor loss)

Review update

After 3 months I can say that my cat is getting back in shape, the product has not caused any kind of problem, on the contrary, my cat has soft hair and perfect feces, and the food has good palatability, I might add that I am also using the dry dog food on my overweight dog from the same brand, I highly recommend it for price and quality.

Absolutely worth a go

Both my cats eat it, but the pieces are very small

I decided to go for it and order 3 kilos, since there are no smaller options. Both of my cats are a little overweight. One of them is getting a dietetic food from the vet. But the other one doesn't like it. This stuff they both like. The older cat is now getting half her old food, half this. So far so good in terms of palatability and satiety. Only 4 stars because the kibble really is very small. The pieces are bigger in the normal Light Food from Concept for life.
