That's why this dry food primarily contains high-quality and flavoursome chicken and lamb. A meat content of 80% provides your cat with valuable animal proteins that it can utilise particularly well. Lamb has a strong flavour, offers a variety of important amino acids and has a very low allergenic potential. Applaws Adult Chicken with Lamb is also 100% grain-free, making it easily digestible and well tolerated even by cats with food sensitivities.
Applaws is known for the high quality standards of its ingredients, and this delicious complete food is no different in containing no animal by-products, instead using exclusively top-quality muscle meat for best quality protein. Neighbours cat loved it.
My cat wouldn't eat these, so gave them to my neighbour. Her cats loved them!

Cat loves it
Have been using this for 6 years (after trying a few others cat was less keen on). He'll eat his wet food but he loves this. Never seemed to have any food-related health issues. I tried a different one (duck?) once and he ate that too but it turned it was me that was bored of 5+ years on the same food, not him.

I'm disappointed the food has become terrible
I used to buy Applaws for my cat and he really liked it. Now the food has changed a lot, the cat has acne and it itches very much.

Has made my cat ill
My cat has had this food before and been fine. Bought a 7.5kg bag and thought it smelt very strong, and after 2 weeks of feeding my cat was covered in scabs, a rash and pulling his fur out, leaving him in such a state all he wanted to do was sit in the bathtub staring at the wall. I have changed food and he has perked up. Interesting that many reviews of other flavours state similar symptoms in their cats. I won't buy this again as it is clearly not right and no longer hypoallergenic.

Don't like the kibble size
The cats love the food but I don't like how the size of the biscuits is so small compared to the other types of Applaws - they can just wolf it down without really chewing it, which I can't see is good for them and also doesn't help with their dental health.

No waste!
My fussy cat would sell his soul for this! Having tried endless dried foods in order to satisfy his discerning palate, and wasted a small fortune, this is the one. Hallelujah!

Good quality.
My cat likes this, though she likes her wet food more.
One minor issue is that the closure on the larger bags such as 7.5kg is difficult to fasten and sometimes pops back open.

Good quality, but my cat is not very keen
My cat eats this, but reluctantly. She has tried other varieties such as the chicken with duck and the chicken with salmon and seemed to really enjoy them, so this is disappointing. I won't be buying the lamb with chicken variety again.

Brilliant
My siamese cats have been eating Applaws dry food for 3 years now, mainly the chicken flavour but recently they seemed to get a bit bored so I switched to this flavour and they absolutely love it. Definitely the best brand of food we have had.

Very small kibble
The ingredients are brilliant and that's why I Ordered 2kg to try out. All my MCs liked it but the kibble is so small that not even my 6 week old kitten thought to chew it. They simply swallow it down without chewing. What a shame. If the kibble was larger I would have carried on feeding it and recommended it to other kitten owners.

Great food with just a small drawback
A top quality, very good food which my cats (4b European shorthair and 2 sphynx) love. Just one problem: the kibble is rather small so the cleaning effect on their teeth is not great.

Super !!!
This is a really great dry food. I have one cat which would rather go hungry than try out lots of different foods. This kibble is the best alternative I have found. Lots of meat and grain free. My cat loves it. Maybe the kibble could be a bit bigger so that it gets chewed more, but the first few pieces are always just swallowed straight down. Maybe because it tastes so good. After that my cat starts to chew. I really recommend this food.

I recommend it
My cats prefer dry food with chicken and salmon. I like it that this food was created without any animal testing and that the meat comes from animals that have been humanely reared and with no antibiotics. I don't want other animals to suffer for my pet. It also has lots of fish which is important for cats. Most other foods have a low percentage of fish to meat. I definitely recommend this food.
