Schildi 2 in 1 is an unusual cat bed and den in one. Shaped like a tortoise, your cat can sleep either inside or on top of the “shell”.

Your cat will love to snooze and snuggle up here. There are lots of cats and especially kittens who love to snuggle up or hide away when they are sleeping.
This large tortoise is perfect for this. With its friendly face and moveable legs, your cat will not want to get up.
If you invert the shell slightly it turns into a very comfortable plush cat bed with a raised edge. Or put a comfortable pillow inside and let your pet can decide whether to snuggle up inside the shell or snooze in the cat bed outside.
Please note: This cat bed includes small parts which your cat could swallow if it chews on the bed.

Schildi, you’re amazing :)
Well, my tomcat is super picky and has rejected every basket and cave I’ve bought for him. The positive reviews about Schildi kept nagging at me. Should I give it one last try? :) What can I say... I don’t know what it is about Schildi either, but my tomcat absolutely adores it and sleeps in it every single day :)

The Hit
Well, I let myself be swept away by the positive reviews here as well, and what can I say... Schildi was a big hit with our tomcat :) I've bought five baskets so far, all of which he completely ignored. But Schildi managed to score points. He might not like the "cave function," but he absolutely loves using Schildi as a basket and regularly sleeps in it :)

Not happening
Alas, the bed has an artificial feel to it. Rather stiff. My cat just won’t go into it. I’ve tried everything I know to make it inviting for her, including placing it near a Feliway and on our bed. Nope.

My cats love it

Our cats absolutely love this cosy bed. Sometimes one of them is inside while the other is on top. Other times, they’re both snuggled together in the cave or fighting over the favourite spot. The bed was an instant hit. It’s super practical because it can be used either as a lounging surface or as a hideaway. The cats can choose between the two options on their own, and all I can say is they love, love, love, love their turtle.

I originally wanted to return the item because it’s not very well made. However, our little Cookie stepped right in and made herself comfortable, so I couldn’t send Schildi back. Overall though, the 2-in-1 function is a great idea.

Eye-catching

Unfortunately, no longer of good quality...
This is our second turtle; the first one didn’t survive all the washing. The first one was really good and was used as a lounging spot by our cat and dachshund. The current one is less stable; the head is soft and floppy, and the legs are also thin and floppy. This makes it less stable overall. The fabric is different too—thinner and shiny. It’s really a shame that products keep losing quality. This will be our last turtle; we won’t be buying any more.

Speechless; positively shocked
First of all: My cats are very picky when it comes to beds/caves.
To be honest, I only ordered the bed because of the reviews, partly because I couldn’t believe why this particular bed was supposedly so great... Whatever it is about "Schildi," my two absolutely LOVE it!! I’m positively shocked ^^ Plus, "Schildi" is really well-made! Totally high-quality and sturdy, it definitely keeps its shape. I’m absolutely thrilled!!

Best purchase
4 out of 5 cats love Schildi 💞 We've now bought 4, one for each tomcat. They're not used as caves but rather as bed alternatives. The material is excellent, easy to clean, and the design is fantastic.
Definitely recommend buying, the price-performance ratio is fair.

Perfect cat cave
Our BKK cat Snow is already 10 years old and very, very picky... but due to the many positive reviews, I ordered Schildi and am pleasantly surprised... Since the weather is unfortunately already a bit cooler, we unpacked Schildi, and he came over on his own, had a quick sniff, and settled down to sleep! Brilliant – the missus is happy. Really spacious and absolutely adorable! Definitely recommend!
