Why grain free?
The idea behind grain-free feed is to become closer to the ancestral diet of cats, which consisted mainly of animal protein and fat. Therefore, grains, such as wheat, corn and soybeans, are not natural components of a carnivore diet such as the cat and are frequently linked to allergies and digestive problems.
What to look for in a grain free cat food?
It is highly important to read food labels to understand what ingredients and nutritional values a product contains and see if it is suitable for our pet.
Consult your veterinarian before making changes to your cat's diet, especially if it has specific dietary needs or health issues.
