i have purchased these cages in the past and the quality of plastic seems alot more frail from the off than the cages i have had for years ,aswell as the bases of the previous versions had strength supports underneath made up of lots of hexagon, these now do not and feel flimsy

This should not be used without the doors open leading to a suitable run or room. For rabbits that means it should measure at least 3meters long 2meters wide by 1meter high minimum. For guinea pigs a permanent home cannot be any shorter than 130cm long - which this is - so you will need to add a shallow ramp so they can easily get out in to some sort of run/room (if using a room put a baby get at the door so they can't escape)

I brought this for my mini lop and it was way to small, she had hardly any space to hop around and was begging to be let out, she is now a free roam rabbit and I did purchase another cage as she chewed her way out of her old one and she likes to have a place to hide when she gets scared and when I go to bed or work. I am very disappointed in this product after reading all the comments.

This cage arrived quickly with no damage. It is a good size for our bunny and he loves hopping up on to the platform. However after spending his first night in it last night we came downstairs this morning to find he had escaped! This was particularly a worry because we had a Christmas tree up with lights on and were worried he would have found them and chewed through them. He managed this because the opening door just slots in and isn't actually clipped in so he managed to open it. It doesn't look like any other reviewers have had a similar problem but if Ferplast supplied two additional clips for the front this could be avoided.

ordered 2 cages came fast within 2 days one cage was damaged very bad scratches lots on the inside of the base and piece of plastic snapped from the shelf so wont be able to use it unless i glue it myself i could send it back but its sounds like a a lot of hard work so i will keep it :-))) i normally shop alot with zooplus and ever things always been great up until this happening i suppose its just one of those things :-)

The cage arrived very quickly, but the tray was cracked in one corner (still able to use it) and the bottle does not work. Still great value for money my rabbit loves being inside :).
