Ferplast Plaza 140 Small Pet Cage

We’ve used Ferplast cages for years because they were simple, reliable, and functional — exactly what you need when dealing with animals day in, day out. This new design? Utterly diabolical. They’ve tried to be clever by adding both top and front openings, which sounds good on paper but fails completely in practice. If you're accessing the cage 3–4 times a day (as most people do), the mechanism is awkward, flimsy, and badly thought out. It’s overloaded with plastic, spare parts are non-existen

I’ve never bought a guinea pig cage that has so many ridiculous and unnecessary clips and connections (and I’ve bought a lot). I accept that the base needs to be in 2 parts but not 4. It was a real struggle to get some of the parts to fit together. The multiple different connections? Don’t get me started. If it hadn’t been for the hassle of getting half of it together, then taking that half apart, I would have sent it back. All I will say is - thank goodness for cable ties!!

Arrived in 2 days Took me most of the day to build it Connecting it was hard and instructions not clear. But once built it’s very sturdy and looks great

The cage came with chips and cracks in the plastic, bit fiddly to clip it together, the opening door is a pain as it comes off every time you open it. Also said x2 bottles, X2 hay racks but only come with one of each. Instructions not the best Wouldn't recommend this product.

These cages are a brilliant size however were abit difficult to put together and one came with a crack. Otherwise amazing cages for my boys and quite sturdy cages too.

I ordered the ferplast 160 cage and it came 2 days later who he as great. Setting it up was hard, the instructions are poor and the plastic was cheap and weak. The cage itself once set up looks lovely and is a great size for my little boy barley. The hideout is really nice and great for him to hide in and the hay rack and food bowl and holder are a nice touch. Would recommend b ur be careful setting up!

Arrived fast, it was annoying to put together as you do need to use a bit of brute force for everything to "click" into place. Black clips to reinforce wire parts were a challenge, I broke one but the rest hold it together pretty well plus a cable tie. Buying another for my 3 girls soon.

Pleased with service,first was damaged but replaced within 48 hours, only concern is trying to clean under kitchen without taking it all apart, trying to I noticed a small crack probably where I've tried brushing underneath

came with some broken parts but nothing un fixable , good size for two sows !!!

Really flimsy. The black clips that come with it are really hard to clip together and fall off constantly had to use cable ties instead holds it together better. Could do with extra supports where the 2 parts of the cage joins. The nesting area has a metal section with no way of the rabbit to get into which means taking the rabbit out putting it in that part and then the poor rabbit is stuck in a little square until u take it out and put it back in the main part so not worth adding that part

This is a lovely spacious cage for my 2 minilops, was easy to put together. I only have one issue and that's the nesting base bit don't click in properly but apart from that it's brilliant

Bought this cage for my 2 guinea pigs&they love it! it arrived in with all the parts 2 days after ordering. the instructions weren’t extremely clear. took 35mins, definitely a 2 man job. the bottle and bottle holder are quite flimsy. once the bottle fell out of the holder so now i use an elastic band attached to the bottle to make it a bit more sturdy. roof of the cage isnt very sturdy. i was a bit worried to buy this cage after reading all the bad reviews but over all i am very happy with it.

Poor quality, the nesting area didn't click into place properly, the base is made of very thin plastic & the cage clips are useless! We had to cable tie bits together to give it more stability - if my cat sat on the top I think the cage clips will likely give way & the cage collapse. All in all it's very flimsy & I don't think it will last long, it's cheap for a reason.

brought this 140 plaza cage for my mini lop miracle and she loves it one very happy rabbit

We have have this for nearly a week now and our little bunny loves it the cage is really well built. We assembled in 15 mins. We use the extention but for his hanging hay and litter tray one side and food and water the other side. So much room for him to move around and have his bed in there comfortably. I would 100% recommend this for value for money and the quality is second to none. This even came with a spare of all the bits that could potentially be broken over time

I found the cage quite hard to put together , some of the pieces were missing or partially snapped , the water bottle wouldn’t stay in its holder so put in the bin, the size however is perfect for my lion lop.

Quickly delivered instruction wasn't the best but its ok once get it together both my boys guineas pig are in it now haven't put kitchen part in cause one off my boysbis online weeks and can't get up and my other boy didn't like jumping off it so put 2 carrot houses in till my new house comes

Arrived with a few bits broken but unwashed refunded some so it was all good. Plus it was just the bed area which I wouldnt use anyway and also a bit of the base but doesnt effect it. Really good size cage. Easy enough to put together on my own. Just the clips for holding the mesh together were a bit fiddly. Very happy with it. Will be getting another 1 soon.

It was good but very hard to put together and it's a bit unstable, but otherwise the size is great.
