Pet owners are thrilled with this wooden house for small animals. It's spacious and well-made, providing a cozy spot for guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and even parrots. The house is loved for its practicality and design, allowing pets to sit inside or on top. However, some concerns about nails and splinters were noted. Overall, it's a recommended purchase, offering a delightful retreat for pets to rest and nibble on.
Spacious enough for multiple pets
Well-made and sturdy construction
Loved by pets for both resting and nibbling
Presence of nails can pose a risk
Potential for splinters

Poor workmanship - not recommended!
The house looks super nice, but only at the beginning.
We've had it for 6 weeks now, and already in 4-5 places the nails or staples from the stapler are coming out (they're sticking out properly – a clear risk of injury)! I think that's absolutely outrageous! It's obvious that the rabbits will nibble and chew on the house. I absolutely refuse to buy a house in this price range every 6 weeks.
The manufacturer needs to step up and fix this. As has often been mentioned here, this house also has those glue marks, which aren't particularly appealing either.
Or is it actually intentional on the manufacturer's part that the houses aren't meant to last long??

Unfortunately, only mediocre quality.
I can only confirm many of the reviews. Ever since we got the log cabin, we've been constantly repairing and trying to minimise damage. We've now removed almost the entire front, as nails kept getting in the way. It's actually a shame because, apart from that, the size is really nice for two guinea pigs.

Warning: High risk of injury
I put this house in the cage of my two rabbits some time ago. At first, it was a great thing, but after about 2-3 months, lots of small wire nails started appearing on the edges. I'm really glad we noticed this in time because the risk of injury is enormous, and none of us want to look into the cage one day and see a nail stuck in the rabbit or that it has hurt itself on it. I'm giving only one star because that's the lowest rating possible.

Protruding nails
I bought the house for my little rascals because it looked very promising and was big, but rabbits are rodents after all, and they tend to nibble on a little house now and then. Unfortunately, the house couldn’t withstand this. First, the "coating" came off, then the individual wooden elements simply fell apart, and shortly after that, the nails started coming out of the roof.
I only noticed this by chance because one nail was sticking out about 0.5 cm, and I don’t think it’s pleasant for an animal to jump onto the roof and end up with a nail in its paw.
Therefore – one star from me, actually none at all, but unfortunately that’s not possible. Very poor workmanship.

NAILS!!!!
I had to return the house as well because, as already mentioned, a lot of nails become visible once the top layer has been gnawed off. My chinchillas have already hurt themselves on it. For this reason, I absolutely cannot recommend the house and can only warn against it! I really wonder why the house is still being sold at all.

Risk of injury from nails
My two dwarf rabbits have had the house for 2 months now. They've been nibbling on it – as they should, can, and are allowed to – and now there are lots of small, sharp nails sticking out both at the corners and on the roof! A major risk of injury!

Danger from Nails
Until the day before yesterday, I found this log cabin for rodents (we have 2 dwarf lops) absolutely suitable. Unfortunately, I’ve now discovered that these cabins are put together with nails. Since the rabbits gnaw off the bark, nails are now appearing everywhere, which could cause them serious injuries. That’s far too dangerous for my rabbits!!!

Guinea pig died in the window.
WARNING! WARNING! I strongly advise against buying this (and other houses with windows) for guinea pigs, as I had the painful experience of my guinea pig getting stuck in a window and dying!
WARNING! WARNING!
