For my very pampered semi long hair rescue cat
She likes this better than Felix, and an unintended side effect from this food that I cannot find anywhere else is that it makes her fur so soft and lush! She is now a warm, soft plush. She is happy, I am happy too!

Good for senior cat with tummy issues
Recommended by my vet for my 15 year old British Shorthair, who has always had a sensitive tum and recently had an ongoing bout of diarrhoea.
This did the trick and firmed things up very quickly. My cat loves it despite its unappealing appearance and not a lot of 'gravy' ( which is almost jelly like).
Still, I'm not the one eating it and she is - and as long as she's happy I'm happy!

Very disappointed!
Bought this as an alternative gravy option for our “old boy” moggy who is struggling to digest food. It had been recommended by a friend so we thought we would try it!
Food was dry & grey in colour - no trace of any gravy! Really disappointed.
Even the cat turned his nose up at it!
Have reverted back to our usual brand.

Whenever my cats have upset stomachs I give it to them and they are much better. I always use it in this situation.

Hmmm
I have a poorly maine Coon almost 2 years old cat and putting him on a GI diet is close to being the last chance for him.
He has been eating this product pretty well until the last order. Just opening the sachet it felt different. I had to use a fork to get it out of the sachet and my cat is barely eating 1/4 of it whereas the pack before, he was eating 4 sachets a day.

Cats eating now .
My cat has urinary problems and has to have a special vets urinary food .....
Recently he has totally gone off every different type of urinary food I could find for him .....The vet suggested this food ...As it is on the so index as well which they checked with the manufacturer ...He still takes his vetpro in the morning .
He loves this food and wolfs it down .I add a little water to it ...All good at the moment ..I obviously keep an eye on his wee ....

It depends….
Both my cats were sick recently and the vet suggested feeding this to help in addition to some probiotics. It worked a treat with my older cat and he loved it…and the diarrhoea stopped, things started firming up. However it made my younger cat’s diarrhoea worse! So I returned him to his normal RC Maine Coon slices in gravy whilst giving him the probiotics and luckily things improved. Even now when he tries to steal his older brother’s food, he will start to get soft poop again….so it depends….

Perfect food for my cat with IBD
My cat was really ill at the start of the year, he was being sick every day had diarrhoea and ended up in the vets for the day and was diagnosed IBD after multiple tests. This food has saved his life I did try Hills I/D first but he really didn’t like it but this food he wolfs down he has been on it for 8 months so far having 6 small meals a day 4 hours apart and will be on it for the rest of his life. Its expensive but less expensive than vet bills so worth every penny.

Well tolerated
One of my cats has gastrointestinal issues and unfortunately vomits quite often. With this food and medication, we’ve finally got it under control. She’s been eating the wet and dry food from Royal Canin (Gastrointestinal) for almost a year now, and she still really enjoys the wet food. So, I can definitely recommend it.

New formula?
My cats always loved eating this, but now they won’t touch it anymore.
I used to be very happy with this food because it was practically "inhaled" and also worked great against diarrhoea.
The sauce looks different too… much lighter than last time.
Such a shame, I’ll probably have to find something else now.

No longer being eaten
Many thanks to the previous reviewers. I was cautious with my last order as a result, and I actually had the same experience: Last year, this was THE go-to recovery food for diarrhoea and vomiting, but now the food is avoided, and the cats look around to see if the others have something better in their bowls. Such a shame – now I have to look for another gastro food.

Easily Digestible
My Bengal liked this wet food almost immediately. She had been sick regularly after eating other wet food but this one agreed with her. A very happy cat & owner!

Better recipe (according to my cat, at least)
My kitty used to eat this 5 or 6 years ago when she was first diagnosed with IBD, but went off it. We tried it on a whim after finding out the recipe changed, and she loves it again. They really can be funny creatures, my heart goes out to those who's cats have gone off it, but it's not a straight up 'bad' reformulation. I can pretty much just get mine to eat this and the sensitivity control during a flair so it's a lifesaver.

Didn’t work
I had a teacup Persian cat - 13 years of age and bought this to try and stabilise her diahorrea. It made it worse, it was like a fountain coming out of the rear end. So I had to go to the vet and use digestive paste to try and replenish what she lost.

Changed Recipe to Jelly = ruined
This food used to be great but since the recipe change to jelly from gravy, my cat no longer likes. It was a great move to remove the sugar, but changing to jelly was a very poor decision when the price has stayed at a high premium.

Shame, no sauce left.
My little tomcat has chronic digestive problems and is also extremely picky. After many unsuccessful attempts, this was finally a food he liked. Unfortunately, ever since the sauce was replaced with a jelly-like substance, he often leaves this food untouched as well. Even though gastrointestinal food is a bit more expensive, I’d rather pay a little extra – the main thing is that my tomcat is doing well.

Excellent
Orders always very quick and my cat loves this food .

Unfortunately, no longer tasty.
There used to be proper sauce with the chunks, now it’s a gel-like mass that has nothing to do with sauce anymore... such a shame, my cats used to love eating it, but now none of them will touch it.

Clearly Unpalatable For My Fussy Cat
Got this on my vets advice to sort out my cats tummy problems. The pouches state they are in gravy and the first few pouches seemed to be, but my cat just licked all the gravy off and left the meat. Then after a few days the consistency of the pouches changed to a drier jelly-like substance instead of the gravy & he refused to touch it at all. A very expensive mistake (although his greedy siblings ate it mainly because it wasn't theirs!).

New recipe?
This used to be great when my cat was recovering from a dodgy tummy or vet procedures, but it seems the recipe has changed? Doesn't look or smell the same as before and cat doesn't like it as much
