Renal wet food tinned Royal Canin
My 17 year old Jack Russell Genie has renal problems and signs of Cushings desease.Genie just started this and dry renal Royal Canin. The tinned renal does look like pale brown sludge and I am concerned with the ingredients of pork, chicken meats animal and fish byproducts and derivitives which are unspecified I am not happy that these derivitives are not specified further more it does look disgusting and smells the same. I have always steared clear of buying my pets unspecified animal by prod

Food for a dog with kidney disease
Since my first dog passed away from kidney failure 10 years ago and we couldn’t stop the disease despite changing his diet, I was very sceptical. However, my dogs absolutely love this food and devour it. The feeding recommendation should be taken with caution, though. Following the guidelines, my dogs gained 1 kg in a very short time because the food is very high in energy.

Diagnosis: Renal insufficiency
My Giant Schnauzer male was diagnosed with kidney insufficiency at the age of 5. Initially, he was treated with an infusion for 3 days and then additionally with Royal Canin Renal dry food and wet food. The dog loves eating it and tolerates it very well! His levels have since stabilised within the normal range! Excellent!!!
