Unlike some dog foods, the texture was really smooth perfect for dogs with sensitive stomachs like ours who can't eat food with lumps without having to mash it up. It smelt really rich and meaty and he absolutely loved it. We noticed his stools were firmer. We did notice it gave him rich smelling gas, frenchies are known for anyway. Can't comment on coat improvement of his coat as he's always had a healthy shiney coat anyway. Overall impression, we would use again.
