My Lurcher Deerhound is always full of energy but I did notice he wasn't that great at leaping for his favourite ball. He was diagnosed by his vet as being about 7 kilos over the optimum weight and after starting on Hills r/d Wright loss he would lose about 1.5 kilos per fortnight at first. Shofar he has lost 6 kilos and we're heading for the 7 kilo mark. BTW He loves the meal which helps!
