Weight not advertised in the tin
Bought this as recommended by my vet for my dogs recent diabetes diagnosis. As I have to weigh his food to stabilize his insulin levels I noticed after emptying the whole tin into a tub that it actually weighs 345g instead of 354g. This is not cheap so I am not happy I will contact Hills and let them know - this is false advertising. That said there is no issue with the food and my dog seems to enjoy it

Excellent
I’ve been feeding my dog this food for three-quarters of a year now due to recurring bouts of diarrhoea and vomiting, and I can honestly say this food has truly helped my dog and continues to do so. We now have perfect stools, everything’s great, and no new illnesses. Every attempt to switch to a different food has failed. I can highly recommend it. I’m sticking with it, and my dog still enjoys it. He eats it every day with a good appetite.

Alimentary my dear Paddy
It does exactly what it says on the tin. My Dog Paddy had severe Pancreatitis. When the Vet said he had to go on a Prescription diet I thought he is going to be turning his nose up at his 'healthy' diet! But guess what he absolutely LOVES IT!! It's definitely helped to prevent a recurrence of his condition. Well done Hills for this fab product and thank you Zooplus for the massive savingsI make on Veterinary Surgery prices!! Woof,Woof from Paddy too!! Simon, Paddy's Personal Shopper & Chef

My furbaby loves this food
My furbaby age 6yrs 3months old didn't like any of the dog food until she went ill and put on steroids. Hospital put her on Royal Canine digestive care and she would bit your fingers off for it. But after being taken of steroids she was interested with it. Our vet suggested Hills digestive care children stew and biscuits for her as she was diagnosed with pancreatitis. We haven't looked back since starting it. The only draw back Its extensive but we do anything to help keep our furbaby with us.

The old consistency was better.
My dog ate it for a long time and everything was fine – but now he's struggling with the "crumbly bits". Even visually, it’s no longer as appealing.

Highly recommended
Very well received by my seniors. Chronic diarrhoea resolved. They won't take anything else now.

Super - but always sold out!
The food is great – my dog has been eating it for 5 years because he has chronic inflammation of the small intestine. We have his blood values checked twice a year, and they’ve been steadily improving! Unfortunately, for the past year (since COVID), it’s been almost impossible to get hold of this food! It’s practically ALWAYS sold out! This is really awful for us because our dog can only tolerate this food :( I don’t understand why the production volume hasn’t been adjusted when the demand is so high.

Recipe changed, not good.
EPI and IBD dogs have issues because there’s rice in the food.
The new recipe isn’t as good as the regular Logo Fat.
Rice is cheap as a filler, but it’s not good for the dog and causes bloating.
Chicken and carrot are fine, but please leave the rice out.

Always a treat for our furry lady
We've been feeding this product to our little Bolonka girl for some time now, and she always gets excited when this excellent food ends up in her bowl. She tolerates it wonderfully and hasn't had any digestive issues since.
I can only recommend this food!

Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Digestive Care Low Fat Ragout Chicken for Dogs
I have to say, this food is actually very good,
But I find it very strange that the consistency is always different—it's either terribly dry or has too much moisture, so it's far too runny and therefore less filling.
But as I said, it’s eaten very willingly, though we need much more than the dog would actually require.

Super
I have a Pekingese girl.
She has incurable pancreatitis.
Every wet food with very little fat didn’t help—she kept having diarrhoea, severe stomach pain, and vomiting.
We had to go outside twice every night.
It was very stressful for both human and dog.
But now, with this absolutely wonderful wet food, we finally have peace.
Well-formed stools, no more vomiting, and no more stomach pain.
We are soooo happy that our little girl doesn’t have to suffer anymore.
Amazing!

Great food for dogs with intestinal/digestive sensitivities
This product is amazing and has really transformed my dog who has intestinal/digestive sensitivities. It smells good, it looks good quality food and has helped my dog recover. I highly recommend it.

Great food
Our 4-year-old dog was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis last year. After switching to this food and the matching dry food, her blood values stabilised within the normal range, and she's doing really well again. Her stool is no longer coated in mucus and is of firm consistency. Nelli has loved the food from day one and doesn't leave anything in her bowl. She gets the dry food as a treat.
