Unfortunately, my dog doesn't like it. Personally, I think the food smells good. My other dog tried it too but doesn't really like it either. Maybe it's because she's a royal poodle and they're picky when it comes to food?

First of all, I was able to test the food for free. Here’s my honest review: My first impression of the food is that, unfortunately, it doesn’t look very appetising. Even for a pet, food could look a bit more appealing. The ingredients are okay, but the meat content could definitely be higher. My dog found the texture too soft—there wasn’t enough to chew on. He wasn’t very interested when I opened the can, but that’s been the case with all canned foods so far. My dog’s coat is shiny, though.

I mixed it with dry food. My dog eats it.

My dog tried out this product. She really liked the food, but from day 2 she started having a lot of diarrhoea. After 5 days we stopped for a bit and her stools went back to normal. Then we continued with half a can per day alongside her usual kibble. This worked really well. No problems with her stools, and her food bowl was always emptied extra quickly. The food looks very healthy, you can see bits of carrot and other vegetables in it.

A high-quality product and my first impression of the composition is good. It doesn’t smell chemical and has a firm texture. My poodle mix ate it up in just a few bites the first time, and she was happy to eat it on the following occasions too. So the acceptance rate is high, which is great because poodles can be fussy eaters. However, I do notice that Lola has much more and softer stools compared to her usual food, a fresh KVV diet. I was allowed to test this product and can recommend it.
