Markus Mühle Black Angus Adult

I used Markus muhle food for ages for 2 dogs, but last year both dogs became incontinent of urine and started drinking a lot of water. I didn't realise it was both of them at first, assuming it was one of them, then the other. I spent over £900 at the vets on blood and urine tests for them both. There were no conclusive results from these tests. I suspected it could be the food and changed brand. I have not had an incident of incontinence from either of them since.

Dog was doing great on this until the latest bag which is different, including different script on front and now in a paper bag. Very strong smell and not just from the food. The dog has had explosive green diarrhoea ever since. We will have to rethink.

I always buy this food but the last two bags I have bought have had this weird smell and my dog throws up every time he eats it

My dog didn't like this food and I have had to donate it.

I don't often write negative reviews however on this occasion I felt I had to. Ordered Black Angus to try along with my usual Simpsons Premium 80/20 mix. Dogs simply would not touch the Black Angus. The chunks to me are awkwardly shaped and simply too big for my chihuahua to chew. I tried removing their usual Simpsons brand and they would still turn their noses up. The cold pressed pellets may retain more nutrition, however they smell unappetising. so it's back to my usual brand.
