My 14-year-old dog is now on this kidney diet because she prefers this food the most. The kibble size (ø approx. 5 mm) is much more to her liking than the Reddy pellets (ø approx. 1 cm). Her kidney values haven’t been checked again yet, as the diagnosis was only three weeks ago.

For my 14-year-old Samoyed female, I’ve bought various kidney diet foods over the past few months. With Integra, everything is just right: she eats it willingly, her stool quantity has significantly decreased, and I can see that her coat is becoming fuller and shinier again. Plus, better kidney values!!

Due to the sudden diagnosis of kidney insufficiency in my 13-year-old Harzer Fuchs, I had to switch from my trusted Bozita Original food to a renal diet food. I tried Integra and Royal Canin. With Integra, the symptoms have noticeably improved (panting and increased drinking). My dog is passing less stool, and the blood tests have shown that the values have normalised. He has become livelier again. It seems I can enjoy more years with my dog.

Our dog absolutely loved it. However, the food went mouldy twice in a row. I didn’t understand why!? That’s why I decided to switch...

My old Cairn (13 years) was producing a whopping 7 piles a day with Happy Dog kidney-friendly food. Thanks to Integra, his digestion has regulated nicely. I add half a bowl of wet food to the dry food, and he seems to quite like it.

My dog suffers from Cushing's syndrome. Since his adrenal cortex is damaged, he takes Vetoryl tablets. Through sharing experiences with another affected owner, this food was recommended to me to help improve his levels a bit. He accepted it well, but he smells strongly of the food, and his stool has become much firmer. The food seems to be good overall, but unfortunately, it's not the ultimate solution for my dog's condition :-)

As an alternative to Reddy Trofu for a kidney diet, I’ve now tried this food, and my dogs like it even more. This is mainly because the kibble pieces are very small, which is ideal for my elderly miniature dachshunds, as they only have a few teeth left. I had to soften the Reddy food because of this, but they didn’t enjoy it that much. I’ll therefore switch to Integra.
