Consistency very firm, tolerance very good
Loki is a severe allergy sufferer and has been on hypoallergenic food for a while. First the z/d, then we had to switch to d/d because the other one was unavailable for some time. We've now tried this one; Loki does eat it, but not as well as the z/d. The consistency is very firm, so I have to soak it in water. I'll probably switch back to z/d. Otherwise, it’s recommendable.

Aussie with FMU and CAD tolerates it very well
My Australian Shepherd with canine atopic dermatitis and food allergies loves the wet food and tolerates it very well. We've tried everything – BARF, cooking, etc. – but Royal Canin Hypoallergenic and Anallergenic are unfortunately too fatty; they make him vomit and cause licky fits. With Hills z/d, his CAD wasn't well controlled, and his coat was very straw-like; with Hills d/d, his coat was great, but he had digestive issues. I hope I've finally found the right solution with Derm Complete now.

Top feed
After elevated pancreas levels (diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting), I switched to Hills food on the advice of my vet following a blood test. The composition, as far as a layperson can tell, is so-so. But the results regarding stool and pancreas levels after two weeks of consistent therapy were excellent. This food is absolutely brilliant for gastrointestinal issues. After two weeks, a follow-up blood test showed the pancreas levels were very good. As the saying goes, "Gut with charm." I'll definitely use it again at the slightest sign of trouble.

We’re getting on really well with this food, so we don’t need Apoquel anymore! My dog tolerates and eats this food very well!

Great service
I have been using this product from my vet for a few weeks now as my dog has a super sensitive tummy.
I ordered on a Wednesday and it arrived on Thursday so great service will definitely order again especially as its 50% cheaper than my vets prescription

Hill's Prescription Diet Canine Gastrointestinal Biome
The food was recommended to me by my vet for my dog (4 years old). My dog took to the food straight away and absolutely loves eating it. (Previously, he was on wet food.) Since Rover started eating this food, he’s back to eating normally, his digestion is great, he’s fit again, and he no longer has diarrhoea!

Sorted our Norfolk Terrier's diarrhoea in 2 meals
Our 4 year old dog, Milly, was suffering from terrible diarrhoea and having failed with our usual solution of a chicken/rice mix the vet prescribed this biscuit. Milly loves the biscuit and she rapidly recovered from her debilitating state. Relieved and happy, thoroughly recommended.

Excellent
Hi,
vet here. I was recommending this prescription diet to many of my clients, but recently had test it on my 7kg mix breed and 25kg Belgian Shephard dogs. They both found this food very yummy and more importantly it settled their diarrhoea within 24hrs.

Hills Gastrointestinal Biome Digestive/Fibre Care
A really good food, my senior dog (13 years old) had giardia and terrible diarrhoea, and this helped so quickly. Within 2-3 days the stool consistency was better. We continued using it after worm treatment. The gut slowly repaired and after about 2 months he was completely better.
TOP dog food that I completely recommend!!

expensive but does the job
Seems to be highly palatable, and does what it says on the tin.

Peggy loves it
My shitzu peggy had awful problems with bladder Crystals Since being on this food she’s been crystal free for nearly 2 years now. The price on zooplus is so much better than purchasing the food from my vets.

Infestation of grass mites
Our terrier Ebby was suffering from a grass mite infestation. Our vet prescribed Apoquel and Derm Defenses, and with those, we managed to get the problem under control.

Peace of mind at last
Dennis is a West Highland Terrier that initially suffered from skin, paw and ear infections. Always on steroids and antibiotics. A new Vet at the practice suggested |I fed him on Hills canine ZD wet and dry food, AND NOTHING ELSE! This has been so effective. He is now a happy Westie with none of his previous problems and I am talking about several years trouble free.

Perfect for the treatment and prevention of struvite stones
Tinkerbell, my small dog, underwent an operation 4 years ago to remove a large stone from her bladder. They analysed it and the stone had been taking up practically all the space in her bladder, forcing her to pee continuously. It was discovered that it was a deposit of struvite, minerals, phosphate, ammonium hydroxide and magnesium. Our vet recommended that we use this Hills CD continuously. Since then Tinkerbell has had no problems, and the pH values of the urine are sufficiently acidic due to the food. She also eats it with such voracity that I have to assume she loves the taste of it.
