Utilisation and output not okay
My Rotti bitch unfortunately doesn’t seem to digest the Eukanuba dry food very well. She eats it happily enough, but the output is yellow, mushy, and excessive! The same goes for the Rottweiler-specific variety from the same brand. Such a shame, given all the good reviews – I’ll probably switch back to Josera.

Flatulence, dull coat, and hunger
I actually like to switch dog food brands now and then so that my dogs don’t get too used to one brand (I know there are different opinions on this). Unfortunately, this food wasn’t very filling, and my dogs were constantly hungry – at least compared to the amounts I fed them with my previous brand. On top of that, my dogs had flatulence and started developing dull coats. Normally, they have very beautiful, shiny fur.

Small kibble
The kibble size is too small for larger dog breeds.

My dog loves it
We had to try a lot of things because she can't tolerate everything. Eukanuba Adult Large Breed Lamb & Rice was the only product that worked and gave her a beautiful, shiny coat.

Easily digestible food
Our Giant Schnauzer bitch (now 2 years old) tolerates the food really well and gets salmon oil in addition to treats. She's in top form, we have nothing to complain about.

Total diarrhoea
Even a small amount of this food during the transition caused severe diarrhoea.
My dog had extreme diarrhoea and terrible bloating for 4 days because of it.

Megaesophagus life-saver!
My dog has just a flap and no muscle in her aesophagus to push food to her stomach. We add boiling water to this product then after 5 mins or so, we use a potato masher, adding lots of water to make a porridge-like consistency. I think, because of the oil in the lamb, it slips down her throat easily (we also feed her in an upright position). It does not work with the chicken variety, only lamb. If it wasn't for this product, our dog would not be here today. Thank goodness for Eukanuba!

best food
I have a 12yr old Chocolate Labrador,an 18 month old Golden Labrador(only had him 6 months) and an 8yr old jack Russel. My Old Lab has been fed Eukanuba lamb and rice from a puppy as his breeder reccomended it.I'm very proud of him as he is a perfect weight of about 30kilos and is a very fit dog which never fails to amaze his vet. I would reccomend Eukanuba to anyone who owns a Labrador especially Lamb and Rice as they tend to have sensitive stomaches. I have been feeding my young Lab on it since I got him in December last year, he was very podgy when I got him but now he has fantastic muscle tone and people in the village comment on how fit he looks. My Jack Russel has the small to medium breed lamb and rice, but then Terriers are fussy eaters and will only eat when they are hungry, but she is also perfect weight and very fit.So I think this is the best food you can feed a dog. All you need to do is compare the ingredients in Eukanuba with other dried food, it does what it says on the bag, Trust Me!

For Akita and Boxer
... very well suited. Anyone who knows how much fur an Akita sheds will be amazed at how the fur loss is reduced with Eukanuba.
I feed this food to a neutered, almost 5-year-old Akita female and a 3-year-old Boxer male. The latter often had stomach and intestinal problems, and would vomit other food completely undigested even 24 hours later. With Eukanuba Large Breed Lamb and Rice, alternating with Sensitive Digestion, things have finally been calm for over half a year now! The food is well tolerated and also eaten very eagerly, which says a lot for the Akita lady!
The composition of both varieties doesn’t really convince me, but as long as the dogs are healthy and lively, tolerate it well, and enjoy eating it, we’ll probably stick with it.
Stool output is very minimal and firm. Food consumption is very low. I can recommend it!

Grain is NOT necessary!
Before my dog developed a severe form of food allergy, I always happily and almost exclusively fed Eukanuba! - For years! - The result: a severe form of food allergy! Grain does NOT belong in dog food and is, of course, a cheap filler for the manufacturer, unlike meat!!
In the meantime, I’ve learned from my specialist vet that maize is one of the leading triggers of allergies in dog food! - Yes, unfortunately, hindsight is always 20/20... - Grain-based dog food is outdated; there’s now plenty of information about it, so for the sake of your dog, you should avoid it!!! It’s no coincidence that many manufacturers have been producing grain-free products for quite some time now! - Sure, my dog ate this food enthusiastically, but he’d also wolf down chocolate and biscuits... Grain: no, thank you!!!

Grain with too many contaminants
Eukanuba contains a lot of grain. After several years of eating Eukanuba, our dog developed digestive issues and food allergies. The vet advised us against this food. I won’t be feeding it anymore.

Doberman
My dog no longer has digestive problems, her coat is shiny, her weight stays consistent, and she’s as fit as a fiddle. The measuring cup is great, as it allows the portions to be adjusted and controlled if she’s had too many treats in a day.

Eukanuba Lamb
The food is gladly eaten by our Australian Shepherd. Since he has a slight intolerance to grain mites, we switched to Eukanuba Lamb and Rice and are very satisfied with it. Usually, we have two poos per day, which I find acceptable. The smell of the food is great. We can recommend the food.

From the very beginning, only Eukanuba
Both with our first dog and now with our Labrador bitch, we only feed Eukanuba Lamb & Rice because it gives her a shiny coat and good digestion. Also, great value for money, as the portions aren't too large.

Eukanuba
My Lab, now 9 months old, has been getting Eukanuba Adult with Lamb and Rice for large breeds since he was 6 months old. I'm very satisfied with it.
