Overweight Through no fault of her own
Our 3 Yr old Border collie was spayed and her weight rocketed. We cut back on her food as per the vets instrucitons but she was only eating 1 x can a day + mixer and was not losing the weight. We bought this food on the recommendation of a fellow dog walker. I doubted she would get on with it but are delighted with her progress.
The pack tells you the ideal weight of the dog and you just feed her that weight per day... easy! Also the amount its substantial so she is having a decent bowlful of food. So far she has lost 2KG and loves the taste, so much that we moved our puppy onto the Burns brand.
The cost actually works out cheaper than buying her old tinned food with a large bag lasting a month!
Not only has she lost the weight but it has helped sort out her anal sacks, which were a distressing problem and trip to the vets every 3 months. The fibre from the oats has also sorted this out, so it is good for her in many more ways.

Retreiver with Colitis
My dog is 1 years old, has had colitis all her life and this food is amazing. She has it dry in the morning and soaked in water for dinner and loves it. I highly recommend this food. Her coat is shiny and she is a very happy girl.

Fab for my wheat allergic doggy
She wasn't too keen at first but it's what they get used to isn't it, like us... I mix a little chicken, salmon, etc with it. Now she loves it. Good value and free from rubbish.

Westies free from skin irritation and great coats
I started my two Westie boys on this 5 years ago and wouldn't feed them anything else, they share the 15kg bag with my little Yorkie. The boys are 10 years old on 1 January and 1 April next year and the Yorkie is 3 years younger. After dreadful skin and stomach problems the Westies have never had any reoccurrence of earlier problems (thank God) and the Westie after recovering from a huge kidney stone, has been healthy and stone free. BURNS is THE FOOD for loving owners who want the best for their pets.

Succesful weight loss
I put my westie onto this food after she put on loads of weight after losing her pal. She has now lost 2 kg and looks a different dog, and now enjoys running around the garden. I would recommend this product for weight loss

Dogs says "no thanks!"
I bought this for my eldest dog who is 8 and she hates the stuff!
I have to mix a tiny amount in with the original food I was feeding her to get rid of it and even them she spits it out!
My other dogs wont eat it either.
I am glad I only bought one 15 Kg bag.
Back to Arden Grange I think :)

Best Food Ever!
I've been feeding my 2 5yr old boys (1 Lab & 1 Lab cross) on this for sometime now. My lab is allergic to life and is very sensitive. Although he's on meds for life, the vet suggested a more hostilic diet. Once an overweight boy, he's lost 8k in weight and his skin problems have disappeared and no unpleasant smells from the rear end! I mix this with the Burns Penlan Chicken & Rice for a bit of moisture. Will never change them from this ever.

Great Dog Food For All Ages and Problems.
We decided to take in an unwanted senior german shepherd with obvious digestion problems (unbearably smelly). This food has cleared that problem and the dog is much more calm. Our previous german shepherd had colitis from a pup, but had a full and troubless life on this food. We recommend this food for any age or problem along with zooplus very fair prices.

At last!
A dog food that suits all 5 of my dog's, the one with bad ears and itchy skin can eat it, the fat one can eat it and the one with colitis can.It makes meal times so much easier now they all eat the same and this is the best food i have tried, and i am married to a vet so have tried a lot of the 'best'ones!

Burns high oats
really pleased with this food which was recommended by pet shop for our overweight labrador which we adopted from RSPCA this summer. He has reached target weight and his skin allergies and fur are much improved. I add veggies as recommended by Burns Team and it seems to fill him up, no mean feat as he is pretty insatiable!

A diet food that gives results!
My dog lost 3kg on this food, it filled her up, kept her energy levels good, and has been by far the best diet dog food I have tried - and I have been through most of them in the past. I would thoroughly recommend this product!

TEAR STAINS
Due to an anal gland problem I have started giving my 4 year old Border Collie this more high fibre food. Within a week her 'bottom' problem has started to improve PLUS she is no longer having tear stains, which look terrible against her white hair. This is probably due to the fact that Burns Dry Dog Food does not contain Beet Pulp, which apparently is the main culprit of unsightly tear staining. I wish I had discovered this range of dog food a lot sooner.
