I recently tried Good Boy Chewy Chicken Strips with my dog and was really impressed that they’re made from 100% chicken breast. They don’t have a strong smell and aren’t at all greasy to handle which makes a change to lots of other dog treats on the market. My dog really enjoys them and gets so excited when he sees the packet! It’s good to have a treat I can trust with simple, natural ingredients. I received this product for testing purposes, but my feedback is based on my honest experience.

I was given these chews to test and make an honest review, my dog loves them she can hear the package being opened several rooms away and races to me to take one. They smell nice for a dog treat and have great packaging with a resealable seal on the bag to keep the treats fresh. My dog eats the chews in record time and I can tell she enjoys them. The strips look more processed than others I’ve bought. As soon as I opened the bag the dogs were interested. They love them and have since day 1.

The Good boy chewy chicken strips pack was large, 350g, and contained lots of sticks. I think this size pack from a good brand represented great value for money. The pack was resealable which was handy. I found the pack easy to reseal after use. When I opened the bag the aroma was full on chicken. The smell got my dog’s interest straight away. From the moment I opened the seal, the chicken smell had my dog’s full attention. The strips smelled genuinely fresh and meaty - not synthetic or overpowering. Their texture was just the right balance of chewy and tender, easy enough for my little dog to enjoy without gulping them down too quickly. His initial reaction? The ingredients contain sweetener and salt, so they are not as ''clean' as they could be, but they have become one of his favourite treats. My dogs really loved these - I initially thought they will be quite hard for them, but they enjoyed chewing on them so much! I even put them in the fridge for a while so they had the perfect munchy snack on a torrid sunny day. They come in a nice, resealable packaging that is easy to store and seems recyclable. The ingredient list is quite good and I found the overall quality really good. My dogs are not very fussy with snacks so they welcomed this new addition with excitement.
