Do not use, very bad product
We have 6 year old jack russell who we feed Lilys wet food to, twice a day and a dentistix after each meal. We do not feed him anything else. Today my poor dog had 6 teeth taken out, they were full of decay and im positive it must be the dentistix. They are full of rubbish and i will never buy them again. My vet also told me that she would never give dentistix to her dogs.

Great value for money!
These Dentastix are great value for money, and my lab treats this as a daily treat, which lasts for all of 10s! It helps reduce plaque on her teeth, so that is great!

Don't give these to your dogs!
I advise anyone who gives dentastix to their dogs to look up what the ingredients actually are. My two dogs kept suffering with flatulence and terrible upset stomachs and we stopped giving them dentastix (once a day) and this ongoing problem stopped instantly.

EXCELLENT
I've been giving my Shih Tzu Dentastix since she was a puppy. I took her to the Vet today for her 8th year health assessment and health check, and he was amazed at her teeth. No Tartar at all! Remarkable for an 8 year old dog! All down to regular Dentastix.

Great
Both Dentastix and DentaFlex are great for your dogs teeth, and are very low in calories so can be given once per day without your dog getting fat ! I have heard numerous vets recommend them in the practices I have been to. I have a staffie and German Shepherd (both rescues) they are both 5 , I have had them almost 4 years and they still have perfect teeth with no tartar whatsoever. I'd highly recommend these and DentaFlex to anyone for their dogs.

Knowledge is key
although you all say your dogs love dentastix, that's because of the cereals and carbs. There's nothing healthy about these and they don't necessarily promote healthy teeth. Try a deer antler or a veg starch treat, much cheaper and healthier!!

Good for Westies
I buy the large Dentastix for my 2 Westies. I give them half each every day as a bedtime treat and now they won't go to bed without it. They have good teeth for an 11 and a 9 year old so the vet tells me.

repeat order
These are always a repeat order on my zooplus account, they last a decent amount of time (unlike some others), and I don't worry about them splintering or getting stuck anywhere
Make great "lolly sticks" when frozen in a cup of water and treats in the freezer in summer too!

They work...
My 6yr old goldie still has perfect teeth and very clean.
The vets regularly comment on this..
Definitely worth a purchase.
'Max' has one after a walk (2hrs min) as his treat..
But be wise and search the prices..

A MUST treat for every dog
My dog views this as her treat every morning after her breakfast (and even loves the minty fresh ones too) On the other hand for me it is saving expensive vet bills as her teeth are much cleaner. I buy the large box at a time as this works out much cheaper in the long run. Worth the cost.

Used for as long as we can remember
We have given these to our dogs for as long as we can remember, they love them and they help with their teeth too. Generally we buy either these dentastix or the new fresh dentastix in the market. It's a great treat for our dogs as well as the added benefits. It's from a well known company so you know it's trustworthy. Highly recommended :-)

These are a must
Our 9 year old Schitzu's have perfect teeth, one a day keeps the Vet away.

my girls love dentastix!
My two springer spaniels love Dentastix! They hear the packet being opened even when they're not in the same room and immediately come and sit perfectly at my feet, waiting for their daily treat! Dentastix are perfect for keeping their teeth and gums healthy.

Dental Care
We use 'Dentastix' for our dog to promote his dental care, he loves them, ordering from Zooplus is great, we get the best price and the delivery times are superb. Zooplus is our preferred supplier for all our dogs needs.

Surprisingly good
Our two black labs are 8 months and 5 years old, and have small and large Denta Stix respectively. The dogs destroy them very quickly, and within 20 seconds they're gone - they certainly aren't treats that go on and on, contrary to the TV ads' claims.
I was at first very sceptical that they would have any benefit whatsoever, and had intended to run the boxes down using them as treats and training rewards, before switching to something a bit smaller (and therefore cheaper).
However, well before the boxes were half-used, we noticed that plaque on the older dog's canines and molars was greatly reduced, so have decided to continue using them as a one-a-day treat.
The dogs get their Denta Stix in addition to their normal amount of food, and this has not adversely affected the weight of the older dog (an un-neutered male). They rarely have other treats, however.
Ultimately, the dogs adore them, they're not too expensive, and they do seem to do their job. I would expect faster results with dogs that chew them instead of inhaling them!

A Must Have
We give Jerry one a day and the reduction in plaque is clearly visiable, we have tried another brand but the plaque started returning we went back to dentastix and it immediately started to reduce again within 3-4 days.

Brushing your teeth was never sooo good!!!
The dog equivalent to catnip I think! We have two dogs, labrador/collie cross-16 months old at time of writing. They love these things. They only last about 1 to 2 minutes so, not a boredom buster but an indulgent treat they are and they smell ok!
