The toy is a hit with many dogs, especially smaller breeds and puppies, offering fun with its squeaks and crinkles. However, some owners found it less durable, with dogs tearing it apart quickly, leading to disappointment. Despite this, many dogs still enjoy playing with it, and some owners appreciate its longevity and entertainment value for their pets. Overall, it's a beloved toy for some, but not ideal for determined chewers.
Highly entertaining with squeaks and crinkles
Enjoyed by small breeds and puppies
Not durable for determined chewers

Super
Well, my dogs usually manage to destroy everything in no time, but they absolutely love the octopus, and it always lasts a really long time because they handle it so carefully
Only with this one 😂 I keep buying it again and again.

Excellent indestructable quality.
My Jack Russell loves Octi. I throw, he retrieves and shakes the life out of this toy. So far, he has not damaged Octi at all - proof of durability!

Favourite octopus
My dog destroys most things pretty quickly, but the octopus lasted quite a long time and can be stitched up well if damaged. With the squeaker, the crinkling sound, and the long arms for shaking around, this toy has become a firm favourite.

Great toy!
Size small was perfect for our bichon. She started playing with the toy instantly and it's her favourite at the moment. She loves the squeaker! Has lasted well so far, although our dogs are not chewers.

Super. Highly sought-after and loved.
For several months now, the L version. My dog's favourite toy. Big dog.
It's really sturdy, and even after being played with thousands of times, the squeakers still work. I've even gifted it once, and it's still going strong there too.

Great toy
Our little Pepples, 5 months old, loves the octopus. It’s holding up well, even though she plays with it a lot, nothing has broken yet. Would buy again anytime.

Not for the chewers!
This has been so far my favourite looking toy, it's honestly adorable! My 3 month old Podengo pup superglued himself to this toy straight away, was his all time favourite. However once his adult teeth had come though he made pretty quick work of it and had torn a hole in the top half and taken out the squeaker and the stuffing.

Great toy for our little ones
Our little ones love it!!! And even though both of them tend to destroy toys, the octopus holds up brilliantly. Top-notch!

Lasts a long time
The octopus has been around here for many months (I think it’s been about two years). The dogs don’t have it available to them all the time, but the fact that it’s still in good condition and squeaks is honestly a miracle. Really well made!

Super great toy
Finally, we've found a toy that even our old dog really, really enjoys playing with. Normally, she doesn't like toys or play at all, but the octopus has completely won us over, and we're absolutely thrilled that Shiva is finally playing!

Most durable toy
Bought months ago and it’s still alive and squeaking even today. And she’s actually a pro at destroying toys. Our Olde English Bulldog girl has already chewed up the crinkly arm, but the rest is still in great shape. Highly recommended 👍

One of my dogs favourites!
The large toy is a fantastic size for my Hungarian vizsla, she absolutely adores it and it's proven to be very durable. We have had it a number of months now and it is still in one piece, would definitely recommend!

Torn by the dog, bitten by the cat
Our Labra-Sennen-Doodle gutted the large octopus in no time, tore it apart, and dismantled it into all its individual pieces. Based on the reviews, I had hoped to find a toy that would last longer. Well, that was a bust and my last attempt. Everything else from Kong seems suitable for him, but from here on, any cheap stuffed toy would have lasted just as long. The small octopus for the cat (Birman Siam) was also chewed up in no time. :(((

Also a Great Toy for Cats
Also a great toy for cats, it gets carried around, bitten, thrown, and properly kicked with the hind legs.
A few threads have come loose, but that can happen.
Our 10-month-old kitten absolutely loves it. :D
The crinkling of the arms and hiding it under the blanket is especially fun. :-)

Incredibly durable
I felt compelled to write about this toy because I can't believe how something so cheap has turned out to be so hardy! Our Jack Russell cross has destroyed all previous toys in a matter of a week or so - sometimes in minutes - and when this octopus first arrived I was convinced it would become an 'noctopus' - no limbs! - in a very short space of time. However after over two months of daily chewing - JR absolutely loves it - it is still perfectly intact and still squeaks like it did on day one.

Excellent toy
My labrador/golden retriever puppy loves this and although we have had it for months, has not damaged it, not for want of trying. This toy has a squeaker in the head, but my dog tends not to squeak it because he just carries it about. The octopus arms make a crinkly sound.

Dog loves Mr Octo
Our French Bulldog (17 weeks old) has had the little Octo for 2 months now, and it’s one of his favourite toys. Everything is still intact – after tugging, chewing, carrying it through puddles, and a trip through the washing machine, it doesn’t look quite as new anymore, but of course, the dog doesn’t mind that at all. The crinkly legs are also a big distraction from the squeaker, so he’s only accidentally bitten the squeaky part so far.

Price-performance ratio is good.
I bought an octopus for my Husky-Shepherd mix. He loves it, but unfortunately, after just 5 days, the entire inner lining has been torn out and the octopus is destroyed. It's probably great for small dogs, but my big one was sadly too strong. Still, it's a great toy!

Up to the challenge of puppy teeth!
Our little Frops puppy (10 weeks old) works on the small octopus several times a day, carrying it around everywhere to cuddle. Everywhere! The thing gets thoroughly chewed, tugged, and gnawed at with his teeth – and nothing comes apart at all!
I only poked the squeaker a few times with a sewing needle to put it out of action.
