Well, I can't agree with the negative comments here either. My 10-month-old Dalmatian girl is currently on a destructive spree. One dog blanket after another is ending up in the bin because she keeps tearing them apart. I already have the regular black Kong, and it's absolutely indestructible. But I wanted something else for her to chew on specifically, so I got the Goodie Bone. And I'm just as impressed with it as I am with the regular Kong. You can wedge treats nicely into the ends of the bone, so the dog takes quite a while to "chew them out." And the bone hasn't got a single scratch on it in the two weeks it's been here. So, in conclusion: Recommended by a Dalmatian owner dealing with a teenager :D

I ordered the Kong Extreme for my chew-happy dog. After filling it with liver sausage, I gave it to her. The next time I turned around (about 5 minutes later), the bone had snapped in half and lots of small pieces were scattered on her blanket. I’m absolutely disappointed!!

We either put dog biscuits in the ends or squeeze dry food into it like a puzzle. Our Labrador is absolutely thrilled and keeps herself wonderfully entertained. There’s no limit to creativity!

We’ve tried quite a few Kongs for our three dogs, but this Kong bone has been their favourite toy for years when it comes to relaxing. It’s carefully carried to their basket, where they gently chew on it until they fall asleep. Even without any filling, this Kong is a real highlight. We bought one for each of our three dogs to avoid any arguments, and we can only recommend it!

I'm absolutely thrilled, and so is our dog. There hasn’t been a single toy that lasted more than a few hours before. Despite her very strong bite, this one is still completely intact even after a week. I fill it with treats, and she enjoys it. I would buy this again and again. Definitely suitable for large, strong dogs too.

I bought the bone about 6 months ago, hoping to finally find a toy for my sweethearts (Staffy mix and Great Dane-Labrador mix) that would last longer than three weeks. The bone is regularly in use here, and my two rough-and-tumble dogs love it. Especially for the Staffy, it's great to have something to chew on without him destroying it again after just a few minutes. It's also brilliant that you can stick a chew bone or something similar into the sides. All in all, it's truly a fantastic toy that lasts a long time and brings a lot of joy. Highly recommended!

Nothing lasts with our dog; she shreds everything that gets between her teeth. However, we've had this bone for several months now, and it just keeps holding up... Brilliant!

Really great Kong Bone. I can't understand the other reviews. My dog is big and has enormous teeth. The Kong still hasn't broken! I always put treats inside that stay stuck for a long time. Or I use vegetarian pasta and freeze it, so afterwards he takes ages to finish eating everything.

This toy is a delight for our German Shepherds. They can chew on it, and it’s indestructible!!! Really great – just a shame it’s only available in one colour.

I bought this for my brothers Springer Spaniel who destroys all the toys hes given, this toy is still going strong with no damage despite Jerry's best efforts! Very pleased with this item and would definitely recommend it

I have two Staffies that destroy most toys but they both love these bones. When they have been good I treat them to their bones stuffed with the paste and harmony reigns. They have had the bones for nearly six weeks now and there is no sign of the bones being damaged, yet, but I am afraid that they are not really interested in the bones without the paste.

Normally, I’m very impressed with Kong toys, which is why I ordered the black Goodie Bone. My 9-month-old Labrador girl hasn’t got all her permanent teeth yet and has a strong chewing need. I relied on the description stating that it’s especially recommended for dogs with strong chewing needs, and I’m utterly disappointed that the Kong didn’t even last 2 days. My dog managed to break it within a few hours because it’s extremely soft. All other Kong products are still intact, but the one product specifically made for chewing breaks within hours—and that for such a high price!

This Kong (large black Goodie Bone) has been used almost daily by my two dogs (Labrador and Golden Retriever) for about 2 months now, whether for tug-of-war games with each other or for chewing out treat sticks – and it just keeps going and going and going. Completely unlike other products advertised as indestructible (not the ones from Kong), which our Lab manages to destroy pretty quickly.

Kong Extreme arrived, unpacked, and bam – it happened! Our dachshund mix Caspar (1 year old) managed to chew off the first corner within moments... I just hope it lasts a few more days, considering it was quite pricey!

I'm a bit surprised that "normal" dogs managed to take the bone apart in no time. My Bull Terrier is very bite- and chew-happy, and apart from KONG, everything gets destroyed in no time. Maybe it's because I haven't filled the bone yet and have only used it for throwing games. The bone has now survived for over a year; it was buried once and dug up again some time later, but my Bully still hasn't destroyed it, even though he chews on it quite intensely at times. I'd buy it again anytime!!

My dog can destroy any toy you give him except this one. Worth every penny!!

The bone didn’t last 10 minutes!!!! The sides, which can be filled, were immediately torn into small pieces and happily swallowed… so it was a quick scramble to gather them up and dispose of the new toy straight away!

So, we bought this thing and it's still the best purchase we've ever made. The Kong is now over a year old, and we've already gifted one to friends who have reported the same experience. You can fill it with all sorts of things, and the dog can nibble it out. We were amazed at how long it lasts, especially since our 2-year-old male dog usually destroys everything. I'd buy it again anytime and definitely recommend it. Great, if there were more stars... come on, the 6th star for this Kong ***** Cheers!

It took 10 minutes, and the expensive item was already broken. Especially at the thinner areas that can be filled. The pointed parts were bitten off in no time, and cracks appeared. My dog is an 8-month-old mixed breed and weighs 12-13 kg; according to the packaging, the bone is suitable for dogs up to 16 kg.
