I bought the largest size because I want to use it as a daytime coop with additional run space for my sick chickens. It was put together in no time, the smell will hopefully fade soon, but the stability isn’t great. I guess it’s because the bigger it is, the less stable it gets. I doubt the floor would hold up against a strong dog. But it will "hold" my chickens 😊

This kennel arrived quickly and was assembled in very little time, all fixtures nicely packed and well presented, although it looks nice and does the job there were a couple of disappointments. 1 it’s made in China, can’t we make items like this in the UK 2 very lightweight material, 3 bolts only just long enough

I purchased this for outdoor semi-feral cat I have been feeding for 10 years. There is no lip at the back of the house, so nothing to brace the wind from, the front lip could be longer. No ramp, wood soft. Gaps in flooring. I sealed the gaps in floor with silicone & nailed down. Lined the floor & roof with 6mm cork. Then lined the inner walls with cardboard & carpet. Added cardboard to floor along with several fleece blankets. So limited loss of heat & ready for winter. Cat loves it!

We bought the hut for our Sheltie puppy and are pleasantly surprised. Even size S is comfortably spacious and will likely suit a fully grown Sheltie as well.

I ordered this kennel three weeks ago and I’m thrilled – it was delivered quickly and arrived almost without any damage (a small transport dent on one slat – and that’s from Germany to Austria), assembled quickly, and the matching insulation is a real winner! I’m impressed… My dog accepted the kennel straight away! So, definitely recommend it :-))

It would have been 5 stars if the wood hadn’t smelled so strongly of wood preservative. I assume the pieces are dipped in wood preservative. In some corners, there were already slight mould stains from the moisture, but they disappeared after wiping them off with a cloth. I hope that in the next few days, it will dry out in the sun and won’t smell as strong anymore. Assembly: Full 5 stars! IKEA could really take a leaf out of their book!

The delivery was prompt, and the quality is good. However, the oiled wood has an unpleasant smell. For huts that are set up in rain-protected areas, it would be better to skip the oiling. Assembly was straightforward, except for the roof. Unfortunately, the holes for the side "roof hinge brackets" were missing, so I had to measure and pre-drill them myself, which took some time. Once the hut is properly aired out, I’ll hand it over to our "resident" outdoor tomcat. Whether he’ll accept the hut remains to be seen...

Fast delivery and easy assembly of the individual parts. Our Mini Australian Shepherd fits perfectly in size S. He's happy, so we are too.

I think the dog kennel is great, except that water leaks in at the back of the roof when it rains. I've now put a sheet over it to make the roof overhang a bit larger. My Labrador bitch feels very comfortable in it, especially in the cold weather.
