Good material, excellently crafted. Top marks for the convenient assembly instructions – someone really thought this through. Unfortunately, size L is just a tad too small for us, as you need to subtract about 10 cm from the interior dimensions. This detail is missing from the product description and would have been helpful when making the purchase decision... Other than that, the hut was immediately accepted and, after a personalised coat of paint, it’s now a real gem in the garden.

Despite the heavy rainfall over the past few days, the cabin has stayed dry inside. Assembly was really a piece of cake. The cabin had a slightly unpleasant smell for the first couple of days, but that has completely disappeared. So far, there’s absolutely nothing to complain about. I’ve also given the cabin a lovely exterior paint job: Woody is now a gem in the garden, and my Labrador can safely spend a few hours outside on her own.

Purchases this item on Easter Monday and it was delivered by the Friday in intact. Simple assembly - about 20 mins. The dog is like a child with a new toy.

The quality is very good; I also ordered the insulation, and that is well-made too. At the moment, it's outside because it still needs to air out. We plan to use this hut indoors, as our dog is already old and anxious. It would have been better to have one without varnish for this purpose. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a suitable one. So, for me, this product comes with a recommendation to buy. I’ve been a customer of Zooplus for many years and am very satisfied with the service and quality.

I bought the complete set in size S for a wild outdoor cat. With the additional insulation, you can compensate well for the fact that the floor feels a bit unstable – it's just a loose connection of boards. Without insulation, there would be draughts, even if it's not winter. Otherwise, the hut is very sturdy and easy to assemble. Additionally, I placed a 5 cm thick Styrofoam sheet on the insulation as a base plate and added an insulating mat on top, so now the bottom is insulated with 7 cm. Behind the side insulating mats, I wedged 2 cm thick Styrofoam sheets, which fit perfectly behind them. Unfortunately, the roof isn't insulated at all, so I added 3 cm of Styrofoam to the inside top. The entrance is now only about 22 cm high, which is actually better suited for cats anyway. The sheltered left part of the hut was filled with hay, while on the right, I placed a spelt cushion on the floor, and the daily food is placed behind it. Unfortunately, the cat rejects the plastic door flaps – well, it's not a dog after all. Even in sub-zero temperatures like in recent days, the hut now provides a pleasant atmosphere, and the cat enjoys spending time in it. Full marks. Great value for money. However, even with insulation, it’s not necessarily suitable for outdoor use in sub-zero temperatures unless you add extra insulation.

Great value for money, fast delivery, incredibly easy assembly, and finally, the option to pay conveniently by invoice again – with no extra charge. Definitely a place to shop again!

The service was great, the house was easy to assemble. The only problem is my dog refuses to get into it as she was flown over to the UK in a travel box that resembles the Woody House. I now have to get a regular shaped dog house for her.

purchased this house in the summer for my 1 year-old Cavilear King Charles. He loved it and with the decking it looked lovely...but... we have just noticed that in the wet weather it is letting in tonnes of water. We even bought the insualtion and flap, and the insualtion is even soaking after rainy nights. I am very dissappointed as now I have to go out and buy another kennel to keep him dry!!! Shame.

I think the dog kennel is great, except that water leaks in at the back of the roof when it rains. I've now put a sheet over it to make the roof overhang a bit larger. My Labrador bitch feels very comfortable in it, especially in the cold weather.

I bought this kennel as part of the complete package for my Jack mix and I’m thrilled. The kennel is easy to assemble, sturdy, still very spacious for my little one even with insulation, and also very decorative. And my "fur babies" quite like the kennel too :-)

This is truly a luxury home for my Border-Bernese Mountain Dog mix. Great craftsmanship, super easy to assemble (even blondes can do it!), and on top of that, it looks fantastic. This hut is absolutely brilliant. I bought it as part of the complete set for my two "wild ones." Not only is it super easy to assemble, but it also looks very decorative on the terrace. After leaving the roof open for a few hours to air it out and allow the future residents to safely inspect it, they immediately settled inside without any hesitation (of course, equipped with a soft cushion) and fell into a deep sleep. Since it rained the very next night, I was even more delighted with the little house, as I was able to peacefully observe my two "garden guests" slumbering inside through the window in the evening. Test passed without full stops or commas.

The hut arrived in perfect condition via DHL about two days after ordering and was really easy to assemble. To attach the lid, I asked my son for help, but everything else was manageable on my own. The pre-drilled holes were all in the right place, and there was always an extra screw included for each type. You don’t see that often. And our dog (a Wolfhound-Giant Schnauzer mix) practically found his way inside straight away.

The Woody dog house is the cheapest of the zooplus selection but it seemed to be nice. I ordered the house for my Labrador and was really happy with it! The house is easy to assemble, very stable, and outdoor-prrof! My dog likes it and spends the nights only in his new house!

The doghouse fits perfectly in our back yard, we love it and what is more important our dog loves it too!!! He seems to be very comfortable in it and really retreats into it when he's tired or simply wants to be alone... totally worth the money!

The Woody Hut is the cheapest in the zooplus range, but does the quality hold up? I got the XL size for my Hovawart, and it's plenty big—I'm really impressed. The hut is easy to assemble, very sturdy, and weatherproof. It's better than anything I've seen at DIY stores for this price. In a few months, I'll need to make Woody winterproof. I'll try adding a door and a sleeping mat. For now, though, it's likely to be too warm rather than too cold for Balu.
