We are very happy with the stair gate. It's super sturdy, easy to install, and opening and closing it works without any problems. We find the extension particularly practical, as it can be attached really easily. Overall, great quality – we would buy the gate again at any time and can definitely recommend it.

We use the door barrier for our Frenchies so they can't get into other rooms. Our doors are standard 80 cm, but you just need to adjust the side gaps a bit so the Frenchie can't squeeze through, as they're a little wider than the other gaps at 5.3 cm.

The width dimensions of the gate are not clearly stated. The gate itself is 72cm wide. Once you’ve put the adjustable screws on the sides to fix it against the walls (up to 84cm according to the listing), there’s a huge gap on the side where your dog can easily get through. The gate is 72cm wide and unless you buy an extension from them, you won’t get any more than that.

Being from Savic, a good brand, it arrived with a very faulty closure.
