Expensive but good
Always a good choice when the cats aren’t in the mood for their food 👍🏼
I just drizzle a bit of the salmon oil over it, and then everything gets eaten.
A drop in the water bowl even encouraged them to drink, but I wouldn’t buy it here again for the price.

Great product
Stays fresh forever in the fridge and doesn’t go rancid. Despite the strong smell, my picky cats like it in their food.
Use sparingly and please read up on the subject beforehand.

Hehe. Good stuff, but...
Hey, I’m also a big fan of salmon oil... but dear readers, it’s way too expensive here...
On eBay, you can get a 5-litre canister of pure salmon oil for £15.

Brilliant!!
The quality of the salmon oil is truly excellent. My dogs love it, and we’re constantly getting compliments on their soft, shiny coats.
Unfortunately, it’s hard to portion out, and oil keeps running down the side of the bottle.

Very good!
My cocker spaniels really like the salmon oil, and they get a very lovely, soft coat!
They always get the oil during winter when their fur suffers from the dry heating air!

Is eagerly devoured
The only salmon oil so far that our cat really loves to eat. Pleasant, non-fishy smell. Ideal for CKD – adding water and oil reduces the proportion of protein and phosphorus in the food. Basically a kidney diet :-)

Super, BUUUT....
The oil itself is great. Both of my dogs love it. However, the bottle is quite poor, as some of the oil always runs down the side of the bottle... A pump dispenser or something similar would be beneficial. Hence, 2 stars deducted.

Very good
My dog and my sister's dog take it well; we mix it with their food.
Their coats have really improved a lot.
However, the bottle isn't great, as the oil often drips down when you hold the bottle upright again. Such a shame – I hope this gets improved.

Super coat
I use the oil for my dogs, and even though I feed them less than the recommended amount, the effects on their coats are truly amazing! You could really see how, over the weeks, their coats first started to shine on their backs and then gradually over the rest of their bodies. Shedding has also reduced. Really highly recommended!

Oil good_Handling not so good
The oil was well accepted by my dogs, but the bottle needs to be cleaned after use because the oil runs down when you hold the bottle upright again after pouring. It's a shame, a pump dispenser would be better.

Very tasty
I bought the salmon oil for our Labrador bitch... as soon as it was in the bowl, on the dry food, she devoured it with pleasure :-). She couldn’t keep her nose out of the bowl... Her coat looks great and she’s shedding less.

Not accepted
My tomcat and my cat won't touch the food anymore with the recommended amount of 1 tablespoon. I can only really put 2 drops on it. Then it's mostly accepted.
Unfortunately, it was still a bad purchase because they don't like it :(
That said, the quality is top-notch.

Indescribable
Suki used to get the oil from tri*ie, €7 for 250 ml. She gets everything from Hunter now, including this oil. She loves it, and her coat looks fantastic. Once Hunter, always Hunter. And the bottle doesn’t drip at all for me. If it doesn’t work, it’s not the bottle’s fault but the person holding it ;)

No comparison.
Tried it, but no comparison to Lupoderm --- not worth saving money.

Dog with a great coat
Our dog developed quite coarse, dull fur after being neutered.
He's been getting the oil for 2 weeks now.
The quality of his coat has improved significantly.

Great fur
My terrier mix has taken well to the oil. His coat has visibly improved and looks great. I will continue feeding it to him. Highly recommend.

Quite alright.
My Great Dane mix lady really liked the taste, but after half the bottle, she developed a flaky stripe along her spine. Now, as before, she gets 10 sprats from the fish van every fortnight.

Good, but slowly getting more expensive!
As always... often rated very well, and immediately the price gets bumped up!!
Better not to rate anything anymore!
It's a shame about the constant "small" price increases
monthly at zooplus! Even offers on less popular items don't make up for it!!

Lovely coat, less shedding!
Advantages:
*Our dog sheds significantly less hair than before!
*Her coat is softer and shinier compared to before using the oil!
*The oil also makes her food more appetising!
(The effects of the first two points became noticeable after about 2 months; I add roughly 1 tablespoon to her food daily.)
Disadvantages:
*Her flaky skin hasn't improved.
*Some oil always runs down the bottle's edge when pouring, making it a rather "messy" affair.
