Purizon Single Meat Adult Dog – Grain-Free Duck with Lavender Blossoms

Literally the ONLY food my Caucasian shepherd puppy has decent poos on. Everything else explosive diarrhoea. Just wish the calcium content was lower for giant breeds. I know Purizon does a food for large breeds that is low calcium but it’s got chicken in it which I think my dog is allergic to. But this really is a great kibble its hypoallergenic, smells great, high meat content and the price is very reasonable compared to other brands of similar ingredients.

My dogs (12 yo small lurcher and 7 yo medium mongrel) like Purizon single meat varieties a lot! They both used to have stomach ptoblems but now their diggestion is great, and energy levels perfect.

My 2 year old German shepherd is super fussy, won’t eat hardly any foods. But loves the duck version of this food, also prefers it soaked. This time we are trying lamb for a change.

The duck with apple variety includes sodium chloride & sunflower oil.Neither is stated on Zooplus's ingredients list. I'd ordered this on strength of it being grain-free & no added salt.Kibble is quite small, (flattish ovals).

Unfortunately, something happened and after about a week of using the food, my dog started scratching, had loose stools, and was passing gas very often. There was no such problem before.

Great product, the dogs eat it willingly, and it has a very good composition.

My dog has had food allergies for 6 years, but thanks to these kibbles, everything is back to normal. I’ve tried several duck-based monoprotein kibbles, but these ones suit him perfectly! Perfect stools, no flatulence, and no skin problems! You could definitely say they’re hypoallergenic!

It says only one source of meat, but that's not true. Look at the ingredients: duck, okay, poultry fat... and 3.5% beef. So they're lying.

But only 12 kg bags now? Seriously? For small dogs, that lasts 6 months and that's just way too much. They don't get any better once the bag is open. Really a shame.

My dog (Bodeguero mix) clearly really likes the food, but she has been having a lot of gas. She farts (sorry) all day long, sometimes has diarrhoea, and goes to the toilet twice as often as with the other food. Out of those, one or two times it’s diarrhoea, the rest is normal. I bought this food because she didn’t really like the other one anymore and because I read in the reviews that other dogs tolerated it well and even had less stool.
