Royal Canin Mini 12+ 👍 Top!!!
Since switching to Royal Canin, my 13-year-old dog has become more energetic. She really enjoys it; the kibble rings are light and not as hard as those from other manufacturers. Very well tolerated!!! My Pekingese also gets it occasionally as a treat. Of course, you can soak it, but not for too long, as it’s not necessary. I can only recommend it.

Was not gladly accepted!
The small rings are far too hard to chew for our two little seniors (12 and 13 years old). This led to weight loss because they only ate as much as absolutely necessary and only when they were very hungry. Tolerability and output were good. Smells like fish. I fed them 1.5 kg and thought I was doing something good for my dogs with the senior food. However, I definitely won’t be buying this food again!

Not well tolerated...
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this food. Both of my senior dogs don’t tolerate it well. The male has lost a lot of weight with this food, even though I’m feeding him more than the recommended amount. The female has also lost weight. Additionally, my female dog is scratching herself until she bleeds, her fur is falling out, and she’s developing bald patches. Her coat feels greasy and dull. Absolutely unacceptable! The male is now back on Royal Exigent, and the female is on a sensitive food. I thought I was doing something good for my dogs with senior food.

Very good food
My little Jack Russell mix loves eating this food, even though she's very picky, especially when it comes to dry food. Top-notch food!

Really good
My 15+ year old Jack Russell has been really difficult to feed lately. I have tried several expensive dry and wet feeds but he always just picked at them. I tried this food and he loves it. He eats it dry and gobbles the lot in minutes. It's great to see him looking forward to being fed. He also seems a bit more lively on his walks.

Ideal dog food for small elderly dogs
My 15-year-old Papillon × Pekingese mixed breed dog is blind and deaf. I've been feeding her Royal Canin Ageing 12+ for over 2 years now. It took me a very long time to find food that she enjoys and eats enough of (she only weighs 4kg) but can also digest as well as possible.
About 3 years ago, she started becoming increasingly senile and "unwell." No food seemed to appeal to her, and she couldn't chew many of them as she only has a few teeth left. With the rings of RC Ageing 12+, she can break them with her one tooth, and she loves the taste.
She still refuses other food offered as a change.
It's a shame there isn't a wet food version of Ageing 12+.

Old, happy doggy
My little Jack Russell female has always been very picky with dry food. At some point, we decided to try Royal Canin... and lo and behold, she loves it and eats it happily. Starting from the adult stage, we've now moved through the senior range to the 12+ variety. Everything's great!

This variety suits our senior very well!
Our senior dog (we have several dogs) is now almost 11 years old and weighs just under 10kg. Over the past few years, we’ve tried feeding him all sorts of things (e.g. Orijen, Acana, Wolfsblut, Platinum, HappyDog, Bosch, Robur, etc.), from grain-free to fresh feeding, but nothing has worked as well as RC, and especially this variety for seniors. The dog looks fantastic (his coat always gets that little bit better with RC), all body odours disappear, he’s in top shape yet still balanced, the nutritional values of the food are very gentle on his organs, and his stools are compact and firm. Bring on the next 10 years!
