Customers appreciate this claw trimmer for its ease of use and effectiveness in trimming cat and rabbit claws. However, some users find it stiff to operate and not sharp enough for kittens’ nails, causing splintering. Despite this, many recommend it for its gentle handling and durability, with some even preferring it over nail clippers. Not recommended, doesn't cut.
I would have only been able to cut my little dog's claws with this in pain; it cuts very poorly, if at all. It was worth a try to see if it was any good at that price...

Never!
An absolute disgrace for the price. The scissors didn’t even come close to cutting the claw! I would have had to break the claw off, but I decided against it and will order a different one instead! This one’s going straight in the bin!

Useless
Not recommended. Claws get crushed and just splinter. Very poorly made. Even €2 is too much for this.

I'm very satisfied.
I used to have my cat's claws trimmed by the vet whenever they got too long. This time, I decided to give it a go myself to spare my cat the stress. It worked brilliantly with these claw scissors, and my older cat was perfectly fine with it. Stress-free at home, it was just pleasant for both of us, and the scissors cut beautifully. Finally, he no longer has to go to the vet's practice for this.

Unfortunately...
...even €1.99 for these scissors is too much. Not even a single rabbit claw can be cut with them...!

waste of money
You only get what you pay for my mother used to tell me. I should have taken heed. These claw clippers are totally useless. They are like children's toys but a little sharper. You have been warned!!

So far, the scissors do what they're supposed to. I'm satisfied.

Absolutely unsuitable
The scissors don’t cut at all on our dwarf rabbits; if anything, the nail gets broken, and you have to finish the job with a regular nail scissors.
Price aside, if scissors don’t cut, they’re completely useless.

NOT recommended!!!
The claw scissors are unfortunately not sharp at all and crush the claws instead of cutting them! The horn splinters with every claw – absolutely inadequate!
My cat doesn’t like claw trimming anyway, and with these scissors, it’s even more difficult! Unfortunately, there are hardly any alternatives here on zooplus – so I’ll be buying another pair from a local shop where I can check how sharp the scissors are!

Better to spend more money
Unfortunately, the scissors don't close properly. As a result, they crush and splinter my cats' claws instead of cutting them. Therefore, completely useless.

Quickly useless
After the first five cuts, the scissors no longer closed properly. When I hold the closed scissors up to the light, I can see a gap of almost 1 mm. The claws aren’t cut but just crushed.
This is yet another example proving the saying: buy cheap, buy twice...

It's all about the right direction. The scissors are good.
I never used to think about trimming claws. Since I haven’t managed to teach my new little cat to retract her claws, and the vet doesn’t find it concerning for an indoor cat, I decided to give it a try. At first, the claws splintered, and I thought the scissors weren’t cutting properly. But now I believe it’s more about the angle of use. I’ve got the hang of it now and am quite satisfied with the scissors. In a book about cat care that I owned 20 years ago, there was something about the correct angle for using claw scissors. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything helpful online, so I had to experiment. I’ll upload a photo later to show how I manage it.
I’m deducting one point because the product doesn’t come with instructions. To spare customers unnecessary hassle and to prevent the manufacturer from receiving unfair reviews, proper product information would be essential.

Useless claw scissors
If there were 0 stars to give, this claw trimmer would deserve them. I have no idea why it should get even one star. Total rubbish, completely useless scissors. Tried twice, then they ended up in the bin. The scissors don’t cut but just press down on the nail, and the two parts of the scissors don’t grip properly. Waste product, such a shame about the money.

useless
The scissors don't cut but rather squeeze, causing the claws to splinter. We're looking for a different product.

What a waste of money...
After reading all the positive reviews, I thought this claw trimmer would deliver on its promises.
However, I was very disappointed: I found that the trimmer doesn’t cut well at all, leaving the claws still partially attached to the paw...
I’d rather look for a product that might be a bit more expensive but at least works properly as a claw trimmer...

Absolutely useless!
Doesn't cut at all – I'd rather use a nail clipper!

Good enough
Not the best quality clippers out there, but they're very nice for the price.

Not great
These do not give a clean cut and awkward to use. My cats hate these. Best spend your money on a quality pair.

Easy and safe claw cutter
Best buy for cats, I used to clip Bluebell's claws with a nail clipper but now after buying this, makes it easier and safer to clip my cat's claws. She even agrees to it now without bribing her with a treat.
