I've had this lead for nine years now, it's used daily and still works perfectly.

We've been using this lead for 5 years now! It's picked up a few small scuffs over time, but it works brilliantly. We've already got a second one ready and won't be using any other. Our 10 kg terrier loves it and has plenty of freedom.

Unfortunately, I’ve already had to unscrew it twice and untangle everything. The lead gets jammed inside. It’s hard for me to explain. Now I’ll have to go back to the Classic, hoping it holds up better.

We bought this lead for our bulldogs. It feels good in the hand, and the strap is easy to see. We're really happy with it.

We ordered the Flexi 2021 for our greyhound mix lady because I recently moved to Lower Saxony, where there are stricter leash laws. I specifically wanted a tape leash, not a cord Flexi, as I once got injured with a cord Flexi when a stranger's dog ran around my legs and I got 'burned' by the cord. That doesn’t happen with the tape Flexi! It rolls out and retracts smoothly, is nicely visible, and my dog loves it.

The yellow tape is clearly visible, the lead feels good in the hand, not too big and not too heavy. Naturally, the lead does twist, and sometimes, when the full length is unwound and the dog pulls hard, the lead doesn’t retract on its own anymore. Also, because the casing is open, I’ve already managed to pinch the skin on my forearm while rolling the lead back in. You have to be very careful not to hold the casing too close to your body.

For our male dog weighing around 45 kg, I used the old model of the Flexi Giant. The tape was nice and wide and never twisted—it was really very sturdy. I used it until his death, and even after 14 years, it was still intact. Now, with our new dog, I wanted to give this lead a try. The only positive thing is that it feels great in the hand. The tape itself, however, I find far too thin and too light—it flutters like crazy when it's a bit windy and twists constantly.

We've had the lead for almost three years now, and it still works perfectly. We use it daily because our 16 kg dog has a strong hunting instinct and can only walk on a lead. I also don't understand why some people give it a bad review because the lead was chewed through – that has nothing to do with the quality of the product.

Good product that impresses with its simple functionality. The lead practically never touches the ground and is especially visible in the dark. One point deducted because it only took a few minutes without supervision for the dog to completely chew through the lead. However, the repair was quick and painless. Still: Recommended.

I am very satisfied with the lead. It’s light and comfortable to hold. Very well made. Definitely recommend buying it.

Tried a few extension leads over the years and this is the most comfortable in the hand. No snagging and also like the tape lead rather than cord as it doesn't catch your legs when the dogs whip around you...

I bought the lead for my dog (13kg), and since she’s very nervous, there’s often sudden pulling on the rope/strap. But everything holds up brilliantly. Extending and retracting without tangling. In twilight, it even seems to glow, so it’s really easy to spot.

We've been using this lead for almost a year now, and with our 12kg dog, there's absolutely nothing to complain about!!!

The retractable lead is surprisingly heavy, which is probably due to the retraction mechanism. The lead itself is made of a fabric tape that is extremely lightweight and flutters in the wind. Depending on the wind, this can sometimes get quite noisy. Additionally, the lead sags sideways and downwards in the wind, which causes it to get dirty.

We've been using the lead daily for about two years now and have never regretted the purchase. It feels good in the hand, is easy to handle, gives the dog plenty of freedom, and its bright colour makes it highly visible. The retracting mechanism has never jammed or tangled so far! I would buy the lead again without hesitation – a clear recommendation!

Initially, I was worried that the lead might be too heavy, but it sits so comfortably in the hand, and you quickly get used to the size! The strap is nice and wide, sturdy, and the 8-metre length is absolutely perfect!

We swapped out our Flexi 8m cord for this lead and we don’t regret it! We use our leads for our cats, taking them through the neighbourhood, across meadows and in the woods. This lead doesn’t get tangled up in long grass or bushes, it’s flexible and even in strong winds I don’t notice much flapping, even when it’s fully extended. The cats didn’t mind the change at all, which tells me they’re very comfortable with this wider but lightweight strap. Despite its size, the handle sits comfortably in your hand. 👌👌👌

We wanted to switch from the Flexi 5m cord to this longer tape version. I was a bit worried when I read that the tape might flap around. I haven’t had that problem at all. Sure, the tape is light and I can imagine it might flap if it’s windy and you’ve locked it at a certain length. I was also a bit concerned that the handle would feel too bulky in my hand, but I got used to it quickly. It sits comfortably in the hand and the extra weight is just something you get used to. A big plus is that the tape is really visible. We recommend it! 👍🏻

Very nice but heavy to hold. Weighs about 490 grams. Customer service handled this perfectly since I couldn't use it.

When the lead is new and everything works, I’m very satisfied. It feels good in the hand and the webbing is more visible in the dark than a cord. But the quality could be improved. With the first Giant, the spring in the carabiner broke first, then the main spring snapped. With the second Giant, the main spring also broke, right at the end where it’s inserted. I opened it up, bent the main spring back into shape and put it back together. That works. Now I’ve lost the lead and ordered my third one...

Unfortunately, too heavy for me due to osteoarthritis. Maybe it would be lighter with a cord. So I returned it.

I regularly buy Flexi leads for our dogs. However, in recent years the quality has got worse compared to before. I always used to have the closed leads. In the last few years, after about 6 months at the latest, the lead suddenly stopped retracting. Not all the time, but unexpectedly. Not great when you really need it to work. I was hoping the open lead would be better, but after just a few weeks I’m having similar problems :-(

Despite the width of the leash, which seems just about sufficient, and the uncovered reel, this leash is extremely sturdy. Our 20 kg dog is very easy to control, even when he tends to pull really hard to say hello to other dogs. The weight of the case feels a bit heavy, probably the price to pay for the overall sturdiness. No wear at all, even after going through vegetation. In short, we are very satisfied with this purchase.
