We use it with our 45 kg Mali Belgian Shepherd, it's very comfortable and keeps the dog secure even in unexpected situations. It’s already fallen off and been dragged along a gravel dirt road about three times, but you can hardly tell. The strap never twists or gets stuck, we've been using it for about half a year now.

I do not recommend buying this lead for a large dog. Although it’s comfortable to hold and works fine in “light” situations, unfortunately, when it’s fully locked, it can still unlock itself if the dog pulls hard enough. This can lead to really unpleasant situations, especially if someone has an aggressive dog. The lead unlocking itself has happened to me more than once, and from what I’ve heard, I’m not the only one.
