The lead is praised for its high-quality leather, softness, and durability, making it ideal for training and handling strong dogs. However, some users report issues with heavy clips and weak rivets, leading to safety concerns. Despite this, many customers appreciate its affordability and longevity, with some leads lasting several years without damage. Overall, it’s a well-received product with room for improvement in hardware strength.

Cheap, not worth it.
Rivets too weak. A strong pull from the dog (27 kg) and the lead tears apart at the rivets. Completely unusable in public spaces or traffic. The manufacturer should review the product.

Actually good, but...
At first, the lead gives a stable and good impression. However, after just a few walks, I noticed that it stains the skin (my hands) quite a bit. Due to the weather conditions, I had to wear gloves anyway, so it wasn’t too bad. But after about three weeks of daily use, one of the rivets broke!! This can’t have been because of my dog (he weighs 22kg and walks nicely on the lead). I find that really disappointing because the lead itself feels good in the hand. Really disappointing!

After barely a week of use, the rivets tore out, and MY HUSKY WAS "LOOSE" next to me AT THE EDGE OF THE FOREST!!! Thank goodness he was just as startled as I was, and I managed to grab him just in time before he could have bolted... If something like this happens after years of use, fine, but in this case, it only gets a POOR rating for terrible quality. On top of that, the leash bled colour heavily in the rain, even though I treated it with good leather conditioner before "putting it into use."

The lead snapped twice.
Apparently, I'm not the first this has happened to. Something like this shouldn't happen, especially not with a young dog.

The lead snapped at the rivet point :(
The lead itself is TOP, but after about three-quarters of a year (bought in January 2015) and only around 20 uses, it tore at the rivet, and our dog was gone :( Luckily, we found him again.

Already defective
After 3 months, one of the rivets has already broken. Not out of the leather, but it simply split in half. The leather stains when wet, but this adjusts over time. Otherwise, the length and adjustment options are excellent.

Far too heavy and inflexible...
Actually, everything has already been said. I was terribly disappointed. I find the lead heavy, inflexible, and poorly designed. I'm sure the buckle serves some purpose, but it's completely lost on me. The placement of the rings seems poorly thought out to me. The lead isn't suitable for hanging around your shoulder (during off-lead time) either. I sent it back.
