I have to say, after having this a while now; that I’m impressed with everything about it. It looks great, it looks virtually brand new still and is very convenient as a dog food hideaway.

I have a large GSD who is a very messy drinker turning previous metal framed feeders rusty within weeks, I can fit the many dog bowls I have from previous feeders into the holes on top which is handy. I use indoors and wipe excess water off fairly frequently but so far,after 6 months, no problems or damage, although food storage suggested for below I use for spare bowls

If your dog doesn’t have extremely good table manners, water will leak down into the box underneath, which then leaks into the food compartment. You *must* store the food in the bag it comes with, but the bag breaks over time and I haven’t managed to find a good replacement bag. Apart from that, it’s hard to deal with the water—during summer, a biofilm forms and you’ll need to clean this out every day if you don’t want your dog to get sick. The concept is nice, the material is nice, but no.
