On tour with my dog
I used the basket on my e-bike and am super satisfied. My dog (7kg) feels comfortable and has plenty of space. The plastic cover is probably intended as moisture protection for the base plate, though you could also coat it with clear varnish.
The only small criticism is the not-so-durable buckles.

After a year ...
... there are hardly any complaints. I’ve always made sure to protect the basket from rain, and in winter, the bike was stored in the basement. That’s very important. The only downside is the fasteners. They wear out and tear relatively quickly. But they’re still holding up for now. If necessary, I’ll consider getting a click fastener. Assembly was simple, and it’s sturdy. However, it’s always a good idea to tighten things up regularly – that’s true for any vehicle, etc. Regarding the riding experience: I have a 7kg dog, and when she moves around a lot, I do wobble slightly. The heavier the dog, the more “interesting” the ride will probably be. Overall, I can definitely recommend the basket.

A bit more thought!
The basket isn’t bad for the price! Unfortunately, the protective grid with the odd buckle isn’t particularly user-friendly. We immediately replaced it with a click fastener that’s simple, quick, and practical; we also sewed a cushion because, as it is, you can’t really take the dog along. Manufacturers of pet products should also be pet owners; sometimes you get the impression they don’t really understand the subject!

Pay attention to the size!
Bombproof mounting of the basket. Faux leather straps for the grid – okay, it could be fancier, but they don’t really need to hold anything... there’s no pressure on them!
Our tip: Our bulldog (13 kg) went for a ride in the large basket, but it turned out to be way too big. The smaller one is technically only rated for up to 10 kg, but it fits perfectly in terms of size and rides beautifully. For testing purposes, I sat on it myself – the basket can hold more than 10 kg.
Conclusion: You learn something after an exchange.

Sturdy basket
We haven’t mounted the basket yet, but we don’t regret the purchase. The basket seems very sturdy, and the mesh also appears stable.
However, the basket liner is a joke. It’s more suitable as a small tablecloth than as a seating pad for the dog.
The very high price is perceived as a negative point.

Protective grille mounting
Mounting the basket on the bike is very straightforward. The basket and protective grid are suitably sturdy. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the three buckles that attach the grid to the basket. They are made of cardboard wrapped in plastic. They were already torn upon delivery and therefore unusable. My solution to this was to use Velcro straps...

Super quick and easy to assemble.
The basket was delivered within 2 days and fully meets our expectations. It comes with assembly instructions, but it would also be easy to assemble without them. On our luggage rack (standard trekking bike), the basket was securely mounted within 5 minutes without wobbling. Since the basket is positioned at the back, the bike's handling remains unaffected. However, a cushion is still necessary, as the included padding is more of a joke. Our dachshund (6.5 kg) thoroughly enjoyed the first outing in it.

Super piece!
My Parson Russell and I think the basket is great. The riding experience feels a bit strange at first (you can no longer see the front wheel while riding), but you quickly get used to it. Above all, the basket doesn’t wobble back and forth with every turn, thanks to its mounting on the fork. The mesh cover over the basket also makes it safe for the dog. What’s not so great are the plastic straps used to attach the mesh cover. They tore after a short time and I had to replace them myself.
With the basket, long bike trips are possible. If the dog gets tired, he goes into the basket. And the luggage rack remains free, so you can transport other things in addition to the dog.

Really very good quality, but up to 20 kilos?
The basket is really great and very sturdy, but you do end up wobbling quite a bit if the dog turns around in the back of the basket or sits right in the corner. So you really need to keep both hands firmly on the handlebars, otherwise, you’ll end up in the ditch—and my dog only weighs 13 kilos. I think for a heavier dog, it’s definitely better to go for a trailer instead. But otherwise, it’s truly a fantastic, huge luxury basket. I did line it with a blanket, though, as there are some pretty sharp edges on the wicker at the sides, and the dog could actually get hurt.
