I bought this basket in hope that my hound and I could go on some cycling adventures together. It’s really beautifully made, secures solidly onto a panier rack, and looks elegant. However, my little spaniel (10.5kg) can not fit comfortably into the basket (even without the padding), and she is really squished when the protective ‘cage’ is secured over the top. It’ll make a lovely basket for a very small dog or puppy, but I think the 15kg maximum weight in the product description is inaccurate.
