Aumüller Bicycle Basket with Protective Wire for Luggage Rack

I bought this basket in hope that my hound and I could go on some cycling adventures together. It’s really beautifully made, secures solidly onto a panier rack, and looks elegant. However, my little spaniel (10.5kg) can not fit comfortably into the basket (even without the padding), and she is really squished when the protective ‘cage’ is secured over the top. It’ll make a lovely basket for a very small dog or puppy, but I think the 15kg maximum weight in the product description is inaccurate.

This beautiful basket comes with a mounting system that's impossible to use on modern bikes. I have to build a completely new setup myself, so the price-performance ratio just doesn't add up at all. I'm disappointed!

Met my expectations, easy to assemble, holds well. The dog (a miniature pinscher) just needs to learn how to lie in it – so far he only sits and pokes around. I sewed the removable cushion to the basket.

The basket was too small for my standard dachshund. The mesh was especially too low. Also, I couldn't attach the basket properly to my bike. For others, this is probably a nice basket though.

Very nice, easy to install. My dog really likes it too – the inside is soft and comfortable, he was happy to lie in it.

It's a lovely basket, but it turned out to be too small for our dog. That's why we ended up sending it back.

Unfortunately, the basket for our dog, who is light but has long legs, is too small. The inner dimensions and height are all just a bit lower and smaller than expected. Unfortunately.

Beautiful basket, but the part where your dog can sit is not even 40cm long. The basket isn’t 56cm, and because of the lining it’s even smaller.
