It good for my cat

It’s not stopped their scratching (no fleas/ticks) but it’s made a big difference to the softness and shine to their coats. I’ll keep on using it for the other health benefits. I’m trying one more natural product I’ve been reviewing and if the scratching persists, then it’s a trip to the vet 🥲

I have just started giving this Salmon Oil to my little dog and she loves it so much she waits for me to give it to her each morning. It doesn’t have any nasty smell and after reading some of the other reviews about the pump leaking, I decided not to use it and just pour the oil straight from the bottle. I did have to check the Zooplus website for the instructions as to how much to give and how often, because I cannot read the German text on the bottle. I will certainly buy this oil again.

I bought this for my beagle, Rosie, who at 7 years old started limping after she had been asleep, not for long but about a minute, I use this oil every day, 2 squirts on breakfast and she never limps now, I am amazed.

i cant believe how quickly and how much of a difference this has made, my lab is so shiny and it has drastically reduced the amount of moulting, anything that reduces the amount of times i have to hoover is a winner

my dog has damage from having Leishmania. She is also long coated. She absolutely LOVES this oil and looks disappointed if her bowl doesn't have any. Her coat no longer tangled and is soft and shiny. My other dog had an itch problem which this has eased also.

Following from my last review I have received, very swiftly, replacement bottles of the oil which are working properly. My old spaniels love the oil and have it in their meals every day to help with their coats and arthritic joints. Very pleased.

Both bottles are broken and the pump action does not work. It causes such a mess.

Couldn’t review on the effects but my dog who has salmon oil daily would not even consider his foot if this oil was anywhere near it. The smells is offensive and I quite frankly don’t blame him. Also the pump dispenser is rubbish and the oil goes everywhere

My dogs and ferrets love this! It's a nice quality clear oil, yes it does have a scent but it's made of salmon so of course it will. It's really gotten my picky Saluki finishing every meal happily, which I'm delighted about. No problems with tummies and happy animals so I'll definitely continue to buy!

None of my three cats seem to like it.It does not make any difference to their appetite,if they do not like the meal the oil does not bring any change

My two cats don't want to eat that even with wet cat food. It stinks. Waste of money.

The oil is easy to use and the dogs seem to like it in their food.. My only problem si that on two recent purchases the dispenser pump did not work. One was my last order and the other a while ago.

I give salmon oil to 2 of my 7 cats daily, so I thought I'd try this. I don't like the smell of this and it upset both the cats I gave it to after only 3 days. I have given them 2 other oils in the past and they have not been ill, so I will go back to using one of those.

Our Flat coated retriever has always scratched a lot but this has reduced a lot since we started using this a couple of months ago. I have also noticed that his skin looks less flaky and his coat is looking really shiny again. The only problem is that he is always wanting more food now, the oil is clearly very tasty and he wolfs down his meals like never before. The loss of a star is because the bottle does leak a bit when used.

We use this 3 days a week to get a good balance in our cattery. We breed hybrid cats and also own wild cats. This really supports their bodies and I love the fact its pure. - Stylisticat UK

Cocker Spaniel scratching like mad, very sensitive skin. Within a week of adding this oil her scratching stopped altogether! Is this better than other salmon oils? Dont know. Has no additives unlike others with anti oxidizing agents. All oils, including cooking oils, oxidize & go rancid with no signs & is harmful in the body. But ingesting anti oxidizing agents good or bad?? The pump neck leaks a bit of oil with every pump which is annoying hence 3 star. No English on bottle, think its German.

My dog had a patch of hair loss due to stress, and the fur grew back within two months. Excellent product.

We adopted our cat from a foundation, where she was quite scruffy. Since she's been with us, we've been giving her this, and her fur has visibly improved.

My cats aren't really fond of this; whenever I try to sneak it into their food, they just stop eating... which is a shame.

The quality of the product is great. However, I used it as an addition to Rocco wet food. Since Rocco food already contains oils and minerals, even a minimal amount of just 2 drops was simply too much for my dog's stomach (stomach noises). The product is good, but you really need to pay close attention to what's already in the base food!

I tried the salmon oil as a dietary supplement. It seems to be good quality, but my dog couldn’t tolerate it at all. Even the tiniest amount—just 2 drops—caused immediate problems. So, if your dog has an extremely sensitive stomach, you really need to be careful with this. We had to stop using it straight away.

I've been giving it to all my cats for quite a while now and I've noticed a lot of improvements. Since I have many cats, this time I decided to get the large size, but unfortunately the bottle started leaking oil and I had to change the container. It's a shame because it wasn't even halfway empty...

It's true that the pump doesn't work on any bottle, so I measure with a syringe too. Otherwise, it's a very good product. Since my vet found a stage 1 heart murmur in my 11-year-old dog, I've been giving him this salmon oil with every meal, and she told me I'm doing the right thing because there hasn't been any negative change in his heart—it's still just like the first day she discovered the murmur 👍👌

It smells like hot-smoked salmon and doesn’t do any good, but apparently it tastes nice.

Thumbs up for BARF. Salmon oil is a great supplement.

I’ve used this for a while and haven’t noticed any difference in my dog’s coat. I decided to look it up and it turns out there’s absolutely no transparency about the ingredients. It only says 100% salmon oil, but the omega 3 values, and especially the DHA content, aren’t mentioned… I like to know exactly what my dog is getting.
