Early days

It's difficult to give a rating for this as it has only been here for 2 days. It's certainly sturdy and well made, but so far neither of the cats has displayed any real interest . Hopefully they will as it would be sure to help their nails not to grow to lon

Big and Sturdy

This is the second one that I bought.

Highly recommended

Super steady scratching post. Buddy immediately went for a looooong stretched out scratch! And multiple times up and down the pole and he is a big cat. Highly recomended. 👍👍

The best ever!!!

Wow! This is a magnificent cat scratching post.. My large male Rag doll was pulling over the standard posts. I bought him this one, he loves it. Throws himself to the top of it and works his way back down. Great fun for him and my other smaller female. I highly recommend this post for very large cats. It’s strong and stable.

Rough sisal

The sisal rope on this scratching post is much rougher than that on other products, and our two cats won’t touch it. That’s a real shame, because otherwise it’s a good size for allowing cats to fully stretch. I would have rated this much higher if suitable sisal rope had been used.

Fantastic post

Great scratching post. Strong, solid, good quality, all cats love it. Really worth the price.

Perfect for my BSH

Ample space for scratching , cat likes to perch on top. The fabric bit ages a bit badly though and gets a bit damaged by year 2-3 of having it.

Scratch post

It really is massive, much bigger than I expected! Very sturdy and easy to put together. Good quality

Over a decade of use.

We're coming into our 12th year of ownership and although I wouldn't say it looks brand new - it's genuinely not far from it. We only have one cat but she uses it every day for scratching, playing around and sitting atop to watch out the window and I can honestly say it's one of the best cat items I've ever bought. Worth every penny and more.

Recommended

We have had a scratching post for a few months now, absolutely amazing. Stable, big, good quality. After a few seconds of very quickly assembling it, my cats were already using it. Their favourite place to have zoomies around. Every day they jump and climb on it and still is in perfect condition. Good for small 4kg and big 7kg cat.

Great for big cats

My two massive Ragdolls love this scratching post. Its so sturdy and they can fully stretch out and climb up it. Would be great for maine coons too

Big, Bigger then i though! Quality

Love the size, the weight and the quality is great

The cats love it.

My 3 cats were on this before I could even assemble it. Fortunately it's very easy to put together. The youngest was 1st to the top & draped himself over it. They all use it several times a day. It's very heavy & sturdy. Perfect for flying leaps & a multi-cat household. The toys are just irresistible. Make sure you check the measurements as it is huge.

HUGE and they really do love it

Check the dimensions to be sure you have adequate space - it really is XXL. The cats Iove it!

Love it!

Our cat Mr Bojangles absolutely loves this and he runs up it and plays with the dangly feathers! The dog finds it interesting too and its really reignited the fun and games between them.

Disappointing

This pole seemed good at first; however, within just a few days of very little use it became very wobbly. At first I thought it was just a question of tightening up the screw but it made no difference.I then realised that a whole piece of the platform (a rectangular piece that seemed to have been glued to the platform and on which the pole sits) had come off completely. The only way to fix it was by screwing this piece to the base with several screws. The material of the base is very flaky though.

Love it!!

It’s HUGE, it’s CHUNKY and I LOVE it! (Never mind the cat!). Be sure you are aware of how big it is, I didn’t get the measuring tape out, so I was caught off guard with its size. It’s well made, nice fabric, and the attached toys are nice. The fat mousey is cute.

Amazing! Cat loves it

It looks bigger than I thought it would look like but super happy with it because my big cat (6kg) who likes to climb can finally climb a "tree" indoors. She will scratch it, jump on it after running and climb to the top occasionally. To my surprise, she can also stand on the soft top. Very well worth the money!

Approved!

My Maine Coon Stringer definitely approves even though he is 13 years old he is still playful. This will stand up to his big strong claw sand he can’t pull the post along the floor as it is heavy. I’m a happy owner.

Fun for Everyone for six long years!

Had this for six years and coming back on here to buy again as the sisal is only now coming off. Not bad going considering three big cats have been using it daily.

Smells chemical

The cats love it. But it smells terrible. I've had it for over 3 weeks now, left it outside in good weather to air it out. But it doesn't help.

Favourite scratching post!

Still hesitating? Don’t! Most people buy a scratching post that’s too narrow and, above all, way too short. A cat needs to be able to fully stretch out when scratching. This scratching pole is durable – it’s been used intensively by our four cats – looks great, doesn’t take up much space, and is perfect for climbing. We now have two of them. Just a heads up: the price changes all the time, between about €70 and €95. So keep an eye on it and order when it’s around €70 (it won’t get any cheaper) ;)

My cats are really happy

My cats (including a big British Shorthair) are super happy with this. They love the toy and enjoy scratching and playing on and around it. Most importantly: IT LASTS A LONG TIME despite lots of climbing!

Absolutely perfect scratching post! Both of my Norwegian Forest Cats love it and can stretch out fully when they use it. Or climb up on it!

Great pull-up bar for a bargain price

The cats love this sturdy scratching post. The quality is just as good as the one they have at the pet shop for almost triple the price. I really recommend this scratching post.

Best scratcher

I have 4 cats, one of which is a Ragdoll boy. This scratcher is sturdy and heavy enough so that when the cats jump and play, it doesn’t fall over. The string is thicker than in other scratchers I’ve bought before. In March, I bought a scratcher from a big chain pet store and it’s already broken—the strings have come off. This is the best one and great for big cat breeds. Highly recommend and would definitely buy another one.

Amazing

Great value for money! Really well made. Sturdy enough for my Siberians. The sisal is thick and durable. There are some toys attached... I don’t think they’ll last long, but it does its job well! Let’s see how long it lasts, but for now it’s one of the best I’ve ever bought.

Our cat’s favourite!

Our cat loves this scratching post so much that we just bought a second one! It’s huge and takes up a lot of floor space, but it’s totally worth it. Like others have said, the cat can fully stretch out on it, climb it, etc. When our cat gets the zoomies, he scrambles up it and then leaps off. We also have a big cat tree that he uses for a bit of scratching and a lot of napping. But this scratching post is purely for play!
