Simon’s Cat Scratching Paper

My ragdoll destroyed this in 5mins, it's very flimsy And won't hold a large cat. I really need to get another one of the cheese wedges

When the cat tries to scratch on it, the whole thing moves and that freaks them out and now they won't go anywhere near it. I wedged it somewhere to stop it moving but they still won't use it. Any advice?
