The local pet market didn’t have the product in stock.
I know these scratching mats and think they're great. For years, I’ve been getting them from the local pet shop. This time, they weren’t available, and due to the urgency caused by renovations, I ordered them from zooplus at the same price. I’m aware that the eyelets don’t hold anything; I only secure them with thick screws from the hardware store, directly through the material, not using the eyelets. That way, they last for about two years—at least in my case. They’re well-used and much appreciated.

Cats have accepted it buuuut...
The screws provided didn’t fit through the mounting holes at all. I ordered three and didn’t have 12 suitable screws lying around, so I stormed off to the hardware store to buy some! And this was the day before Christmas Eve. The boards still aren’t properly mounted on the wall, there’s lateral play. The toy heart tore off immediately. If I had read the reviews beforehand, I wouldn’t have ordered it. I’m surprised it’s still being sold despite so many negative opinions.

Super
I've had the board for a few months now and have fixed it in one corner. My cats love it and keep scratching at it. I can't complain about the quality, everything's fine.
I'm thrilled, and so are my cats.

Super, but....
It’s being used and serves its purpose. However, my husband preferred to screw the board in with screws. The mounting would have been too shaky. Hence, a point deducted.

Product is good, but the mounting isn't ideal.
The small loops don’t provide enough support on the wall.
We drilled the board directly into the wall using screws and washers, and now it’s rock solid.
Other than that, it’s great, and the cats love using it.

Super Investment
After two years of constant use and three cats, the board is so worn out that I’ll be ordering a new one today. The board has been worth every penny because the corner of the sofa is still intact. Additionally, my cats also use a scratching post and a scratch board lying on the floor. The squeaky heart is still attached.

Annoying during assembly
Unfortunately, the supplied screws didn’t fit through the mounting eyelets. Tried to screw in the first one (or at least attempted to), and it got stuck in the eyelet. When unscrewing it, the eyelet came off as well. Tried the same thing with the second eyelet, thinking it might have been my mistake, but that wasn’t the case. Ended up throwing away the supplied screws and buying new ones from the hardware store... frustrating.
Now it’s hanging!

I'm thrilled!
I now own two of these boards, and both are still perfect, even though they are used daily.
One of the boards is used so the cats can climb over a stair gate—they use it several times a day. The second one lies on the floor and regularly gets tossed around the hallway during wild play sessions because my three cats scratch, pull, and chew on it. The toy is still holding up incredibly well, even though my cats are quite rambunctious.
I would buy it again anytime!

Not worth a penny
Bought this item for our cats as an addition to our two scratching posts.
When unpacking, we already noticed the poor workmanship... no big deal, we thought we'd give it a try.
Okay, "2" days later, the fabric parts were already so frayed that we had to secure the board again using washers.
Now the sisal part for scratching is hanging loose... because it was only attached to the plush with ONE thread.
I didn’t expect much for the money, but certainly not this.

Unfortunately, it didn’t last two weeks.
We didn’t hang up the board because my British Shorthair prefers scratching on the floor. Unfortunately, the board is already falling apart :-( such a shame, but it was to be expected for the price.

Mediocre
The board itself is sturdy and looks good. Unfortunately, the four straps used to attach the screws to the wall are not the ideal solution. The board wobbles, and the cat can reach behind it from the side. The toy heart is nice enough, but the claws often end up next to the board, leaving additional scratch marks on the wall. I should have spent more money on a sturdier version with better mounting options.

Good impression, unfortunately not lasting.
I attached the scratching board to an edge in the stairway, and the cats were thrilled from the very first moment. The little toy was also a big hit.
However, after just a few days, the loops came undone, and the board no longer stays on the wall. It's a shame that it fails because of such a small detail. The mat itself seems sturdy, but unfortunately, the loops can't withstand a cat (especially not during scratching movements).

Great product
I now have 2 of these scratching corners.
Since our ladies feel the need to scratch the wallpaper.
- Appearance: It's quite okay and fits well with our style.
- Installation: Unfortunately, it's a bit loose on the wall, no matter how much you tighten the 4 straps, it doesn't look great. But you can live with it.
- Purpose: Unfortunately missed. The cats avoid the scratching corners, but they are still very useful as wallpaper protectors.
Worth trying for the price.

Unfortunately, poorly made.
We have several of these scratching boards in use for our two tomcats. After a very short time, the plush edging starts to come off and the sisal threads hang loose, which doesn’t look great. The plush hearts were dismantled by the cats in no time at all, which I don’t find too bad, but it does reflect the overall poor workmanship – really a shame.

Holds up well and looks good.
Even after months of use, it still looks good and is intact. However, my cats' claws grow like weeds, so the board might not be as effective. But that's just a guess. Overall, we're all happy :)

Popular scratching spot
The scratching board is loved by my two little rascals. Every time they walk past, they have a scratch :) But the straps for attaching it are absolutely rubbish. We ended up drilling it directly into the wall, and now it stays put.

Recently, unfortunately poorly made
I have two of these boards in use... one is a bit older, bought quite a while ago: quality is excellent!!! - Now I bought one 2 months ago, and the quality is noticeably worse... the edge comes off in no time at all, as you could already gather from previous reviews. Such a shame that the quality of the product has deteriorated so much! Might still be okay for small kittens, but adult cats over 3 kg won’t enjoy it for long...!

Usable - but not for long
The little heart was already removed by my furry friends after just 3 hours – okay, that's not really a big deal. However, after only a week, the plush edge is already coming apart, which looks really ugly – and the fastenings are almost torn out as well. I expected more and I'm annoyed that I'll have to replace it again soon...
