I was disappointed to receive a black mat not brown as per the photos & description & which would match my room! Having read glowing reviews of I thought my cat would love it. However, he shows no interest in it whatsoever… I’ve tried spraying it with feliway spray, giving him a treat on it & sitting with him by it, but he’ll barely even step on the mat, let alone play or lay on it! The crackle sound/textures seems to put him off even more! It’s very well made & I seem to be in the minority!

I bought this for my two Siamese cats. I think it look really sweet but they don't seem to care for it at all. It only came today so maybe they just need a bit of time. I bought them both a Valerian pillow or(smelly feet pillow as we call it) at the same time and the cats have been playing with them all day. Maybe when the get fed up with these they will take notice of the Patchwork scratch pad.
