Unfortunately, not as good as it was years ago. The ball is quickly knocked out of the track by the cats' paws and then disappears under furniture or ends up somewhere as "prey". Years ago, we had an identical model, which was excellently made—the ball sat firmly in the groove and couldn't be dislodged by the cats' paws.

I've had the Scratch It since 2010. Over the past few months, the quality has dropped drastically. The cardboard falls apart straight away when scratched, and there are bits scattered everywhere. It used to be much more tightly pressed and lasted for many months. My cat scratches it several times a day. Now I have to buy replacement inserts again after a short time. Maybe you could raise this issue with the manufacturer! At this quality, it's just too expensive!

My Charlie loves the thing, but unfortunately the ball keeps flying out. Right now, I can't find it again and the track is just lying around uselessly. I contacted the manufacturer and they said: "It's designed that way on purpose so you can take the ball out for cleaning." What nonsense! These things used to cost half as much and lasted forever, and the ball was firmly fixed in the track. And back then, seven cats played with the play track.
